Does anyone have the end of the world-core or apocalypse-core chart?

I'm more interested in post apocalypse new civilisation music

I always find good shit in these threads. Here's a flowchart I found in a thread a while back.

Is there a Herbie Hancock chart?

Just in case anyone is looking for it in the future, I found the end of the world chart

...

v1 of my ppr chart

good stuff

there's a load of forgettable and disposable mid 00s NMEcore there, but maybe that's the point of the chart idk

Thanks!

Some of it is forgettable but most of these records are really fun.

The only problem with this chart is that the tree sided tape albums are removed from everything when they're actually among his best albums

just remembered I have this

replying to my own post to ask if most people really consider henry to be a better singer than stu

Are there any really expansive charts out there for post punk? I'm trying to broaden my horizons in that area but it's tricky because the genre can range from something like The Fall to Interpol. I'm more into the punkier neurotic side of things but am willing to explore.

Anarcho-punk should be where you head to next then, Crass, Flux Of Pink Indians, Subhumans, Rudimentary Peni, Conflict and Zounds for some entry level names

Here's a Bjork flowchart I stole from another thread.

good chart

Finished making this. Feedback is appreciated.

Anyone have a Microphones/Mount Eerie flowchart?

Year Zero can fit in Dystopia/Societal Collapse and Rapture

Welcome Oblivion is extremely Ice Age

A little bit outdated, but

not a flowchart but whatever

might go ahead and update the DG one. none of the ones I'm finding have incorporated BP or Steroids yet

It's OK but since the Garage Rock and Post Punk "revivals" are intertwined, you should have the Strokes' album at the start with a new branch. Make the progression more circular, that way you don't need another angular and atmospheric branch. Also more Dance Punk like Late of the Pier would fit in well. Metric should be here too.

Any Japanese charts?

Slightly below average execution, but awesome idea. Could be better with some more accurate choices (I mean, no Faust? Come on, that's the best end of the world album ever. Nuclear by the way).

I know it isn't /flowchart/ but this reminded me of this one
Big fan of these types of charts

Kid A fits more under ice age than Amnesiac fits in dystopia. The real dystopian Radiohead album is HTTT

post the ambient and autechre ones please

OMG THANKS

I definitely agree with Negro Necro Nekros being the starting point, short and versatile (and to this day my favourite of dälek), but I feel that it's better to just move straight to From Filthy Tongues as their progression in sound is very interesting to follow, at least I thought so. It gets noisier and darker with every release in the 2000's.

This is debatable but I consider Absence more abrasive than Filthy Tongues to get into.
