New album is going to be named Red Horse, or some variation of that. Based almost entirely off of previous dreams. Red Horse is the bringer of storms. Should be fun, might start recording it here soon.
If you're interested in playing any sort of string instrument (cello, violin, viola etc), any brass (saxaphone in particular) or dulcimer, or even harmonica, hit me up. I've got a lot of ideas, just need people to help me bring them to life. You can use the contact page on my bandcamp.
going to listen to this now and report back later, givin feedback to a few other people too

I'll be skipping around some, just fyi.
the noise in this first track feels unnecessary. it doesn't add to the music, I can think of a lot of ways to add noise to what seems like a good idea underneath that would improve it greatly, but this just feels like it's thrown on top for shits. guitar tone is gorgeous though, on the first and second track both. third track is lovely.
track 6 was another one where I felt like the noise detracted from the overall song. felt like a jam session desu. whole middle section kinda lags. and the majority of these songs feel like jam sessions with no actual effort put into writing the songs. which, yeah, a lot of people would say "noise/ambient/drone don't use traditional songwriting," but I'm not talking about traditional. I'm just talking about something to distinguish a song. they all set similar moods, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I don't feel like I took much of a journey. just lots of similar moods till I hit the last track (which is good, it and 3 are probably my favorites), and...I just don't know what you're trying to achieve.
since there aren't lyrics, it'd be nice if you added some sort of description of the album to give it more context.
i will say that i love the album art. but like epiglottis' stuff, it feels like a lot of this isn't your best stuff, just stuff you decided to put out because it was a song you made. quality control is important, I love this style of music when it's done right but it really does feel like you could put out something great if you just took only your best stuff over the course of a year and put it together. no shit, you're talented enough that I think it'd be one of the best albums on Sup Forums.

But I'm most interested in someone checking out this new track: youtube.com
>just took only your best stuff over the course of a year and put it together
I'm pretty sure that's what I did with this album, and these songs actually were conscious, however I agree on that the songs don't always fit together, most of these tracks took months to finish
Thank you for your input though!
I use noise in my music to saturate and interfere with the other instruments, in this case I aimed for an intense and psychedelic experience, it's like a solo instrument that doesn't play musical notes.
The album titles use the seasons, and compares it to the cycle of life

Anyway question of the thread:
Do you play multiple instruments on a certain level, or you try to master one? Which is more beneficial when making Bandcamp music?

Thats fucking killer man! I love the upbeat drums mixed with the fuzzy ambience! Pretty interesting stuff but you blend it well and make it work!
pretty good, has a sweet and charming quality to it. Very happy instrumentation. Catchy.
Pretty good, even if I think everything in this genre sounds the same.

Getting pretty tired of this shit, desu senpai.
im actually done with making music, but some labels were interested in releasing physical media so I am still sharing my stuff
Well, bandcamp only takes about 15% of profits. I can donate my 85% to various conservative groups :^)

over-saturating the threads. there are standouts but so much of it is unfortunately really low effort. so when i see stuff that clearly took a while to write, perform, and produce it's a welcome relief.
but yeah i apologize. i shouldn't dismiss everyone who's clearly trying

pretty tight, reminds me of the plot to bomb the eiffel tower, especially the bass. bit of the locust too, they have to be an influence. would love some black eyes style vocals over this though. isn't hard, just wail.
still cool

if you seriously hate trans people kill yourself
>this is the "tolerant" left I've heard so much about
bump
tolerance?
>the ability or willingness to tolerate something, in particular the existence of opinions or behavior that one does not necessarily agree with.
i agree with trans rights, queer rights, black rights, poc rights, immigrant rights etc and i agree with them that the powers that b and capitalism are wack. however i do not tolerate bigotry
>intolerant of intolerance
It's like pottery.
i am releasing an album in 3 hours
Not that guy, but are you seriously this stupid?
Should I tolerate someone kicking my dog if I'm with the left? Should I tolerate someone knocking my friend's drink out of their hand? Should I tolerate someone talking about how trannies should just rip their dicks off since they're mentally disturbed? Or killing niggers and cops taking care of thugs?
The alt right is so fucking stupid. I'm actually friends with a good amount of right wingers, because at least some of them can convey their opinions without resorting to false equivalencies and Sup Forums troll shit. This is sad. If you're over 15, might as well start acting like it.
Only rebuttal: >hurr libtard gettin butthurt, hurr yr so offended, wow good one huh
y'all are so predictable
oh god man I spent ages designing it and getting it printed etc and after i'd done all of that I showed it to a friend and he was like "this is just floral shoppe but green instead of pink". I hadn't even thought of it but it must have subconsciously influenced me or something.
