Hey guys, I'm new to Sup Forums and I wanted to ask you guys if you could recommend me any good Japanese bands? I only know Stereopony and RADWIMPS. Any good suggestions? The more emotional the better it is for me

Supercar
Quruli

You'd probably dig Uchu Conbini.
I like you.
Also a lot of fun.
How did you find Uchu Conbini? It seems they're a rarity to stumble upon
I listen to a lot of Japanese music. I'm not really sure how I came across them off the top of my head. If you like them, you may like JYOCHO too. They're basically the same band (but with a flute added).
uchu conbini were marketed heavily on indie sites when they came out, and Daijirous new band is being pushed as well

I not really into japans music very much. But Boris And Fishnans are both great bands
I only listen to japanese music, that's the correct way to be a weeb, after all
the pillows is pretty much mandatory listening from Please Mr. Lostman to Happy Bivouac because of how influential they are in Japanese music. Spoilers, the best album is Runners High.
Deviating a little from the norm, Mouse on the Keys is good if you're into jazz and math rock at the same time. I quite like them, but it's not for everyone. She Her Her Hers is pretty good, what with their brand of indie rock mixed with shoegaze and good use of dynamics. Midori is good, but be ready because fusing hardcore punk and jazz with strident japanese vocals is kind of... odd. Mass of the Fermenting Dregs has a nice fusion of post-hardcore and shoegaze, and if you're into post-hardcore, I cannot reccomend Number Girl enough. Zazen Boys comes slightly close, but you have to be into math rock for that.
There's also Asobi Seksu, but only the singer/keyboardist is Japanese, and the band was based in New York City anyhow.
>Polkadot Stingray
My man. Tokyo Jihen is pretty good, all in all.
