Australia is pretty much like 60% UK - 40% US in it's culture.

Huge contingent of Australians, especially young men and women (people 18-30) are basically a mashup of UK Chavs along with Jersey Shore ultra-masculinity culture. Among young Australians though, US pop-culture reigns supreme. (Though Australia's music culture is very british)

Older people tend to be more just boring working class Brits. Australian people 40+ for example, just watch shit like Heartbeat and A Touch of Frost or whatever.
