How come they don't take much part in world affairs like America and Russia does?
How come they don't take much part in world affairs like America and Russia does?
Chinese mentality. They've always been an insular nation that prefers the rest of the world to come to them instead of vice-versa.
Fearful of economic damage that entering or starting wars may have. They prefer to look on while maintaining power.
They feel the rest of the world is uncivilized and prefer just to do business from home turf. They're probably right 2bh
Don't make me post the polluted cities and dogs being cooked alive pics again.
dont they make trouble in their sphere of influence?
Cooking animals alive is fucked but honestly we don't have much room to talk about animal cruelty considering the horrible conditions most poultry and cattle are kept in here
That's just liveleak racism though and not a real reflection of China or the Chinese
China pushes mostly through soft economic power.
Because of their history, they see themselves as a former exploited PoC third world country that is in solidarity with africa and south america and shit, and it's their job, to help these countries rise up and develop. This is why China can't visit a poor third world nation without promising a $350 billion dollar development package.
China sees itself as the head of the developing world. Not an imperialist expansionist power like the west.
Remember as well, they are still Communists at the top.
White people have an inherent need to push their way of life on other people, Chinese people don't
e.g. Crusades, Colonialism, Communism, Iraq/Afghanistan/Arab Spring etc etc
