Your best military victory is you punching yourself in the gut?

The Australians would constantly raid and ambush German and Italian patrols, and in the final stage of the seige pulled a mad as fuck suprise attack.

1871 when Germany was founded in Versailles just to piss the french off

Hasn't Germany got something grander?

Err, Russo-Japanese war or the battle of Singapore, I guests.

Are you really proud of bulling innocent Paraguay

Killing all those niggers and taking their land.

A good contender for Britain is the Battle of Blenheim. If Marlborough lost this battle then Louis XIV's France would have taken Vienna and dominated the continent, and in that period it would have been much harder to resist a Continental Hegemon than it was later on (because Britain and Russia were both much weaker than they became later).

I think relatively speaking, in this period, France was more powerful relative to the rest of Europe than Revolutionary/Napoleonic France or the German Empire/Third Reich were.

Also victory in this war, which Blenheim had a major part in achieving, allowed Britain to develop into a great world power. This is the war which ends in Spain ceding Gibraltar to Britain after all.

Finally, Marlborough's covert "March to the Danube" to fight the Battle of Blenheim has surely got to go down as one of the greatest military manoeuvres of ALL TIME.

OF ALL TIME

Certainly at least equal to anything Napoleon pulled off

invading england, and stationing a new king of our favor

>unironically

Battle of Johannesburg, 11th July 2010.

Transylvania participated in the Thirty Years' War

...world could have been better, why?

Impaling tens of thousand of turks.

The one where Austrians fought each other is even better, we weren't even physically present lmao

Inchon Landing. Completely collapsed the North Korean army.

Hard to say:
>Plains of Abraham
>Long winter march by New Brunswick regiment during war of 1812
>Ypres or Vimy Ridge
>Battle of Ortona (called "little Stalingrad" by contemporary journalists
>Juno Beach on D-Day and the subsequent liberation of the low country

>no netherlands
i-i tought we were friends ;_;

Defeating an invasion by France, UK and Germany at the same time during the Rampjaar.

Taking over England during the Bloodless revolution.

Siege of Jerusalem and Antioch

Dealing a decisive blow to Nazi Germany and destroying their army, the most powerful villain in history (with a little help of Soviet Union)

>Plains of Abraham
>Long winter march by New Brunswick regiment during war of 1812
You weren't a real cunt back then, just a British colony.

Based Vlad.

In relation to their real importance, and not the importance we nowadays derive from them, they'd have to be:
>Bouvines (sealing France's fate as the centralized opponent to the unruly HRE)
>Orléans (reigniting French morale to surround the King in his following campaigns to oust the English)
>Rocroi and Arras (France becomes the undisputed masters of Europe over Austria and Spain)
>Valmy (Revolutionary War battles which reminds the French that there is yet still a chance to win)

Probably the battles to have the most fashioned our History.

>CHI

I specifically said low countries, as in Netherlands and Belgium

That's why I chose battles that had a large contingent of Canadian born militia and regulars.

i meant in your pic

>...world could have been better, why?

Louis XIV was a nasty piece of work. Even for a French King.

Against the emus
Oh wait

Oh sorry, I didn't make it. It does have an Englishman and a German though, just mash them together and you have a Dutchman.

ur mum is nasty

It was a mistake

>rocroi
you literally lost the war, also you won that battle because spaniards had been in campaing for months and out of resources and while your general was truly brilliant still spaniards took a huge ammount of your infrantry, causing you to stop being able to wage the war and eventually capitulate in brussels

Also no the spanish military kept being the stroingest in europe for at least 50 years more and the tercio still the best and most sought after unit of infantry, your mosqueteers even copied the tercio formation
