I have a Brit GF who wants me to move to the UK. Should I move there or stay here?

Below are the negatives of staying in each cunt.

USA
>risk of going broke due to illness
>higher risk of natural disasters
>being taken over by blacks/spics
>less vacation time
>people generally a bit more annoying
>staying here will end a 12 year relationship I'm very invested in
>not as close with my family as hers
>my family wont help with childcare if we eventually have kids (hers will)

UK
>much higher cost of living
>awful wages
>shit quality healthcare
>massive taxes
>housing is shit (tiny/expensive)
>being taken over by muzzies
>very restrictive of personal freedom (speech laws, health and safety, gun/knife laws, etc.)
>everything is generally cramped
>awful weather
>if i eventually get divorced, I'm fucked
>lose my pension
>will start out with no social/professional network
>wont be able to drive
>will have to sell my home and all my possessions, likely at a big loss
>will likely have a much longer commute
>massive immigration/compliance/tax-related costs

>even considering to leave the literally greatest country on earth

International relationships are generally a bad idea.

Pretty much this, op you are fucked in the head.

I've generally enjoyed it. Learning about a new country was really interesting and we get on very well. It is just the actual living there that seems really shit.

What part of the UK specifically? The differences between living in London vs Newcastle vs N. Ireland will be vast economically and culturally.

about half an hour outside London

>>lose my pension
>>will start out with no social/professional network
>>wont be able to drive
>>will have to sell my home and all my possessions, likely at a big loss
>>will likely have a much longer commute
>>massive immigration/compliance/tax-related costs
Fuck that

Do it senpai, the UK is comfy in its own shitty way

Bet this made your heart sink when you sore it

why doenst she move
usa is milion times better then orwellian shithole that is uk

Driving a manual is OK in certain situations. The other 99.9% of the time, auto is much, much more comfy.

She wants to be near her family. To be fair, they are really nice and help us out a lot.

I've known people who ride in autos who roll zoots while driving if they have someone who can hold the wheel on national speed limit roads. They are too easy to drive and if more people did in the UK on our roads things would go to shit

>shit quality healthcare

It's objectively superior to the US', even with the Tories trying to kill it.

That's because your roads are shit, rather than any real fault with automatics

Still fairly shit for european standards though

I worked for the NHS. The US and UK systems have different pros and cons. However, overall the US system is much better when it comes to quality and much worse when it comes to cost.

takes more skill to drive on them too

It's really not that different to anything on the Continent, also, our healthcare is far more generous than in Europe, if anything too generous, you can literally fly here, trip over, ring 999 and you'll be treated in full without paying a penny. Needs scaling down if anything.

My ex-gf is american. i miss her alot. Sometimes i wnat to cry but i can;t.

What I mean is that it isn't even about which country you'd prefer to bite the bullet with living in, it's about whether it would even be possible for one of you to completely upend and move to another country for the sake of love. There are so many ways it can go wrong, it isn't impossible but the odds are stacked against you.
