oh you meant that pass, I was referring to the normal VPNs used to browse sites like google/facebook/twitter (I have heard that some workplaces has stopped blocking them but I am not taking chances), I will get that too just in case.

I am reading about Mao in school atm. I wonder are you guys unaware of all the retarded shit he did or you just choose to ignore it?

>all the retarded shit he did
well it's called 弯路, which means detour/failure, leader after Mao did acknowledge those failures and moved on
我生日是端午节后一天,不过今年估计不好过,就在答辩前不久。
well the most recent news says they did catch 6 japanese spies in China
It is nothing compared with glorious Chinese science achievement
Umm not exactly. The GLF and Cultural Revolution are discussed daily in China and among academics. Many understand how failed they were, but also point to the "benefits".

Why if wages keep rising do Chinese keep taking more market share?

Western memes have to stop, I'm not gonna explain it here because my English level doesn't allow me to type a /his/ level textwall to explain all the historical background reasons behind memes
this also goagent might still work?
also when you randomly open a foreign webpage you'll see some google's adv on vpn I guess those might work.
无名小卒而已 ( ´_ゝ`) 我也只不过是半瓶子水晃荡 总之和你的讨论还是很愉快的

Okay, retarded shit is a bad way to put it. But for example the "backyard furnace campaign" or when he told people to kill birds which messed up the eco system. This are not memes these are just facts. I like China a lot in general and I am going there this summer again but I am having a hard time understanding how he is so respected.
So what are the chances of me getting ripped off if I wanted to buy some (relatively) small quantities of steel from you guys?
If I did get ripped off (IE, the vendor switched 80% of the cargo for some cheapo out-of-spec carbon steel right as he shipped it out) what kind of legal recourse do I have?
Africa discovered HIV!
deleto now
that user was being sarcastic tojo
>that was a shit
why the hell asian are all fucking shit
But he is still seen as a god in China, (or atleast Hunan province where I visited). What make him so respected if many of his policies were so damaging (although I like that he implemented Pin Yin)
wow this is like a real thread now
my days of having to start threads with snh girl pictures to get any responses are over
well he's left leaning so he likes to get to the behind scenes part of those absurdities. As for me, FDR should've let Nazis finish off USSR, then ultimately spare us from communist rule so we would've even need to discuss things like this
my recommendation is to find the most trustworthy local intermediary to do it for you/help you, you will never be able to handle anything yourself in China.
>wouldn't
I ask the same about Ronald Reagan here. So I think pretty much anyone who founds an ongoing movement/government will be respected by the people in that movement.
>What make him so respected
he's the founder of PRC, that alone makes him god-tier considering the fact that China still has 500 million peasents who are often poorly-educated and don't know much about history. Besides, name one leader in the world who made zero mistake, you really can't.
>Friend who's somewhat into me tells me to meet some of her friends so that she can give me a job
>Friend who wants to give me a job tells me to meet her boss.
>Make interview with boss. She's a young lady
>It's a tier3 city and people don't recommend it there. But salary and housing are guaranteed so it sounds pretty good.
>Suddenly, she starts asking somewhat personal questions.
>She knows I'm not single but sounds somewhat flirty all the time
>She wants to meet me outside work, hasn't even hired me yet
I thought this shit only happened in visual novels. What the fuck?
Where can one find Chinese people/manufacturers that want to sell abroad? I have the skills to sell a dirty old gypsy for an untouched blonde virgin... Then again I have no product to develop or sell. Feels bad.
well, kill birds didn't contribute to the famine at all. It is the failure of the whole bureaucratic system that caused the famine. And Liu Shaoqi instead of Mao is the very person who should be responsible for "浮夸风" (common practice of exaggeration) which is the major reason of the famine during which low level ccp cadres bloated about the food yield to earn themselves good assessment, which lead to the government overtaxed peasants so that peasants have no food left in their household
That sounds like a very possible reason behind his popularity. Well ofcourse no leader make zero mistakes. But it is few leaders that have so fatal mistakes that cost 60 million lives, and those who did (such as stalin and hitler) are by no means respected in the same manner as Mao Zedong

Shit like this just happens if you're white enough. Check out "Asian Sex Dairies" for hundreds of examples
try Alibaba, millions of manufacturers are right there waiting for you like a bunch of thirsty ukraine whores, but do remember to be extra careful so we won't end up having a never_learn_manderin2.jpg here
>60 million
that means every ten Chinese died at that time, you actually believe that?
Khrushchev‘s secret reports trashed Stalin too hard that it threatened the stability of USSR as a whole. His Chinese counterparts learned from this when they are dealing with the issue of Mao
White privilege is real? Damn :(
YELLOW POWER
On another note, I got offers from Beijing, Chengdu, Liaoning, Xiamen, Shanghai and Xian.
Which one is more acceptable to live in?
I can speak BASIC Mandarin already.
It is estimated that during his rule, this includes the famines, great leap forward and so on cost the lives for 60-80 million. What does your schoolbooks say? And do you learn about these things in school?
Exactly, they gave him a 7/10
xiamen or chengdu
they all want half babies who can speak perfect english
honestly i think they see the english speaking babies part as one of the biggest benefits
What are you gonna do there, Juan?
I don't trust people in alibaba, it's full of shit. I need personal communication.
>60 million
more like 30 million under 10 years of Mao, compares to 9 million a year under Chiang Kai-shek, I would say it's an improvement
>神風特攻隊
never change
Either English or Spanish teacher.
I know, I know.
>Degree.
Forget about Liaoning
The rest really depends on what kind of place you like.
Xian has the most historic touch of them all but is also the most backward
Chengdu is relatively faraway but comfy.
Xiamen is a lively, modern, "small"(in the Chinese sense)but expensive city.
Beijing's air is truly as notorious as you've heard.
Shanghai...well you probably know more about it than I do
>personal communication
then you have to know what you wanna sell first, gypsies not included
Xian and Beijing I've visited them, already. They're really comfy, but I especially liked Xian because it was cheaper and pretty modern as well. Also the air was good. Went there in summer though, so I really haven't seen how bad it can get. If I can I'll aim for Xian or Chengdu, as I'm a pretty indoors guy.
Thanks, I have one month to think about it and just go there so I want to choose the right place.
oh, people still fall for this meme, huh?
I remember when I was in school during the 90s and we had an English teacher from America. The guy was from Georgia (the state) and was having a real hard time explaining us that his Georgia isn't Georgia (the country).
Also - If I was in your place - I'd pick some southern city with access to the sea.
Well I can see where our historybooks are different to yours
Need: Job in Taiwan
Problem: No university degree
Solution: Find a cougar
Likeliness of this happening: low
Second solution: Spousal Visa
Problem: Still can't support myself
??
I don't have to read textbooks. I have a whole shelf of academic books and documents about ccp history or shit like that.
Read years 1958-1961 in this and do some basic math to find whether 60m died

Generally speaking, larger cities are better.
Xiamen has bonus points for scenic hills and beach.
Never been to Chengdu, but Xian is a little famous for fraud targeted at travelers, and someone there once smashed a guy's head open for driving Japanese car.
Xian has too much Muslims to my liking, if that doesn't bother you then I think your choose well
You should move to Xiamen and bone this one chick that's a friend of one of my friends and really hot.
But she probably won't slam ESL-scum (she's too indie for that).
>too much Muslims
Very important factor.
Might as well stay in Europe if you wanna go to Xian.
I'd like to sell machinery stuff. Maybe air conditioners. I have experience with this.
>Solution - Move to Hong Kong
Hong Kong sucks
what's the Chinese word for fidget spinner?
No, during his whole rule, 49-76 his policies resulted in a total of 60million. So to say not only the famine, but backyard furnace, cultural revolution, hundred flowers campaign and so on.
指尖陀螺
>oh, people still fall for this meme, huh?
Oh yes. They do.
>Study English, mate! You can be a translator, or an interpreter, or a teacher, and you'll be able to get a job anywhere in the world, even in Spain because people don't know English here!
>Fall for meme, get degree. Learn more English shitposting here than in the actual course.
>Mates apply for gender studies-tier masters, I don't fall for it and try to get a job right away because I've had enough
>5 years working part-time because experience :^) and because nobody hires for shit except for a laughable salary.
>College friends who work are pretty much in the same situation or worse.
>In that time I spend doing part-time jobs, sometimes 2 or 3 at the same time. It's not bad at this point, but it's a lot of work and it won't get any better. Ever.
>Get curious about learning Chinese while I do.
>Decide to try luck somewhere else.
>China offers me 1200 eurobucks plus free housing.
I don't know where, but I'm going there. Food is nice, people are nice...
hopefully
I'll be fine.
nice book collection you got there user
hmm take air conditioner as an example, first you might need to find certain brand(s) and type(s) of AC you want to sell first, then you should contact wholesalers of the factory to ask for the price including transportation expenses (can google the contact). I don't know what kind of personal communication you need, but I think you can ask them for it. Also it depends on if you want to open a shop or just being a online retailer so the factory could ship the goods on demand.
sorry to crush your dream but girls who play tradional chinese instruments normally don't like gwailo
Recommend me.
I can fake a degree.
>fake a degree
reported to CCP so they can reject the VISA of a german with foot fetish and I'm out
>I will never take a bath in the shoes and pantyhose of all female attendants after a 13h nonstop flight
Last time I went there it was as a tourist, but I was surprised that I didn't see half of the shit that we're told in the west. There was no religious cleansing and people were openly Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Taoist and all. (no Falun Gong tho)
What are the biggest misconceptions foreigners have about China?
What are the DOs and DON'Ts?
I literally saw a girl with a shirt that said "RAPE ME PLEASE". The plot twist is that she was actually studying mid-high level English.
well did you?
>biggest misconceptions foreigners have about China
well like you said it above, the radical islamic terrorists in China are called freedom fighters by the western media, kinda like the modest rebels narrative in ME
>DOs and DON'Ts
don't break the law and get too political on sensitive topics in public, other than that, you're pretty free, this vid below might help you understand a lil
youtube.com
The Republic of China is a sovereign state. Taiwan is not a province under the rule of the People's Republic of China, yet the mainland Chinese authorities continue, citing a variety of political pretexts, to exclude the 23 million of Taiwan from the international health system. This, we cannot countenance, nor will we accept. Their illegitimate actions will cost them the support of the international community, and elicit extreme disgust among all the people of Taiwan.
Heath is a universal human right. Health and disease prevention transcend national borders. The World Health Organization (WHO) belongs to the whole world. It concerns itself with and serves the health of all mankind, not the political positions of a particular country. Taiwan is a member of the international community, and as such, its people are entitled to enjoy the same rights to good health as everyone else on Earth. We should be treated equally. There is no reason why we should be excluded. The truth of this principle is self-evident. Taiwan is resolutely determined to participate in and contribute to the international community, and our government is working actively toward that end. We will continue to promote and enhance cooperation with the proper authorities in other nations in order to ensure the rights of our people to good health.
Sounds smart, at least in this vid.
I feel him on the balding and ulcers. I would have gone bald if not for my current jobs.
Xiamen or Chengdu for comfy, Beijing or Shanghai for people mountain people sea, the rest you can visit if you'd like but don't live there
You'll thank me later
alibaba sucks cause it all looks fake
the fucking presentations/pictures - all look amateur
the chinese products themselves are gooood
but you need the right partners, so that you can sell in Europe
I tend to buy China-only,
even though I prefer the (not so typical) high end chinese stuff
for example my ACs are Gree U-Crown (1000+ eur each)
I use them for heating and they did good in -20C.
>mfw the faget neighbour with his second-hand japanese shit had to run out and pour hot water, cause it was freezing
you can always come in Eastern Europe to work in some service/call center if it doesn't work out for you in China
i've met some spaniards and italians who work here
always complaining for no work back home
>周杰倫
>Gay Chou
>good taste
