I'll always be glad I got to see Greg play in person. He plays bass in a local band called Porcupine now and they played a gig at a bar in my town. Getting to stand right in front of him when they played was fucking awesome, he's still really energetic on stage.

Damn, that's pretty fucking sad to see. Still, got to respect the guy for still going out and getting up on stage to perform in that condition. I remember watching his interview for that Replacements doc that came out about 3 or 4 years ago and thinking he looked kind of old for his age. He really went downhill fast after that though. F

I've listened to Zen Arcade several times. Should I automatically know the name of the band personnel?

I agree, but I like Du quite a bit as well. The Mats are my fave 80s American band.
