Which phone do you have, and are you satisfied with it ?
I have the LG G5, and I'm beyond satisfied.
Which phone do you have, and are you satisfied with it ?
i have a G5, but i think compared to the s7, it just feels like a cheaper made device, screen, weight, and feel of the phone. Only thing it has over the S7 is the wide angle camera, and the finger print sensor is nice, but the power button feels cheap
I have Huawei Mate 9 and am happy with it. Will not be upgrading to 10 since it sucks.
Moto G4 plus. Couldn't be more satisfied
I have a Galaxy S5, bought it when it came out, has served me well, but i think the flash memory is almost on its way out as some files are getting corrupted and the os is slow
Would that be a good phone for an older person?
Huawei P10 here. Cheap phone with better spec than most top tier brands flagship device. Extremely satisfied.
LG V20 here, loving it so far
oneplus 3T. It has the speed of iOS on android.
I had a G2 for years and never had any problems until it just bricked with no warning last month. I'm poor now, so I had to get the Phoenix 3. Slow, but functional.
galaxy grand prime. had it for like 2 years. yeah I'm satisfied
Still running my S4 on the latest Lineage OS.
Other than the silver paint flaking off the bezel I'm happy with it still.
Currently have one as well. Been a fan of the G series since it came out.
I have the Honor 5X and I think it's pretty nice for the price. A little slow, but honestly pretty great for under 200. And it's survived a couple scrapes quite gracefully
Galaxy s3 had it since 2012 screen is cracked
I have dropped it at least 40 times , still works, never had any issues samsung is the shit
Ximora Naphthenate L9*
It's pretty cool guys.
Galaxy S7. 80% happy. It gets slow and laggy at times, but just deleting some old unused crap seemed to help a lot. Only persisting, kind of bad problem is that it takes like 8 hours to restart ever since a t-mobile update a couple months ago, but i just never let it die during the day now. Don't see any reason to leave the S series since I've gone from S4 to S5 to S7 without any super major issues that permanently bricked a phone or anything.
Galaxy S5. Happy with it, as it does all I want it to do. Fairly pristine condition, no cracks or visible wear signs.
holy fuck. I was impressed that my s5 still worked when I got drunk and temporarily lost my s7 over the summer
Both mine and the missus S3 batteries died over 12 months ago, prior to that the phone functioned flawlessly, the S5 I got to replace it though is fucking trash and has itself been replaced.
I have an Oppo R9s.
While its stats are pretty decent and build quality is overall decent, it's not proper Android.
It suffers from almost working flawlessly.
Though, if I need to use GPS features, it's much better than my old Sony Xperia Z2 as that would overheat at the mere THOUGHT of using Google Maps for directions.
Photo taken with the Oppo.
galaxy express prime
just the basics, nothing too fancy
although my old galaxy express of a few years had a gyroscope and this new one doesnt which is kind of annoying
I have s5 thinking to have it until i died.
so.. get another 10 dollar battery for the s3?
Iphone SE . Dunno why people buy shit Android
Nah the battle with 16gb storage got pretty old.
Because I don't want a house full of apple products
Have a Samsung s5 am content with it but gets laggy sometimes and heats up
Samsung galaxy S8+. Amazing phone and a huge change from my old note 3
>Nah the battle with 16gb storage got pretty old.
So get a memory card?
Samsung Galaxy S8, great phone but it doesn't have the charm that my old Lg G4 had and I don't like it for that, and the useless biometrics
Which sounds great until you realise that no matter where you tell the OS to install an app, it still has shit sitting on the phone ROM and with app size increasing you end up doing the uninstall shuffle.
Because apple can fuck off on telling me what I can and can't do with my phone, I'll take an open platform over an aol-ish walled garden any day.
Xiaomi mi5s, the camera is a bit lower compared with the phone perfomance.Im satisfied
Samsung Galaxy S8 plus.
Very pleased with it.
Samsung Galaxy S8, it's meh.
Galaxy s6
I really like this phone
Moto G 2013
Running too slow now, not enough RAM.
I'd like to upgrade but can't justify it while it's still working
Wow. I had no idea Samsung was so prevalent
The market metrics have been fairly clear for a while.
I have a 16gb s4 with an 8gb sd card, other than having to clear out old / temp files I've never had a problem with storage space, old crap / temp files can start to take up a lot of room if it's never cleared out. My card has all my photos, videos, and downloads, no installed apps.
SE is the perfect size. I will buy another one rather than a phablet
Guess I'll join the group, Samsung Galaxy S8+.
Best phone I've had. Perfect size, fast as hell, amazing screen, good battery time.
Perfect for watching porn at work on.
Me neither. For some reason most people I know are fags and have iPhones. Just a few Samsungs and LGs otherwise.
so 16gb with android 6 leaves about 8-9gb useful which means you've got about fuck all space for apps.
I had 2 g4s and both of them defected on me so they upgraded me to the g5 for free.. it was a good phone but it started having screen problems a couple years.. I have the gs8 plus now and it's pretty great.. very responsive and the screen is beautiful
Really? They've been the largest phone maker for awhile now.
In 2016 samsung had 20.5% of the market, apple had 14.4%
Also still have my g2.. that one was probably the most reliable lg
Everyone I know is using Android. Even my mom went over to Android last week.
Galaxy s6.. love this phone
>you've got about fuck all space for apps
If you say so.
got rid of my smartphone months ago.
loving it
Galaxy S8 Plus. Extremely happy with it. No issues at all
I literally did, about 5 posts ago.
The bomb almost ready?
Same.. tho mine has frozen a couple times
anyone know how to get past a lost hard reset phone? It's a samsung J1 2016 and says it needs to have previously synced account logged in to fully complete hard reset
>Samsung J1 user (found phone is also a J1 lol)
>"found"
lol
CAT S60. 5 meters waterproof, shock and dust proof.
I've dropped it 6-7 meters straight down without a problem. Also have a thermal camera for some reason.
Toss it, it doesn't work anymore
interesting.
needs usb 3 and a better screen though.
No problem for me, durability is everything.
Because I actually use my phone as a smartphone.
Try not being cucked sometime. Shits cash.
Nokia Lumia which I am posting from rn. It sucks BBC. I really hate it but I have no money to change it
Galaxy S8. I.love it.
Htc 10 with aosp rom, so fucking good. I had a moto x pure before this and I will admit it was slightly better, but I needed something smaller and this one is much smaller with a better screen to body ratio. Also the audio output on the htc 10 is the best of any phone I have ever tried (I have tried MANY).
I use a prepaid flip phone. I have a fondness for feature phones.
Got an S8. Love it but the software sucks so much dick. It's a bit better after upgrading to Oreo beta but theres still so much they can improve
I'm considering the Huawei p9 or p10,whats wrong with the 10?
What do galaxy s8 users use for screen protectors? I bought a glass protector from some company called Moshi and it already had a giant crack.
I just use some good old fashioned "being really careful with it"
i just use side bumper.. it will prolly not help if phone goes face down from waist height on asphalt
I don't. Never cracked a screen.
don't recommend using glass protector on it, had couple of them and they just wouldn't stick or break really easily. amazon.co.uk
I'm not buying Korean and I'm most definitely not buying Chinese. So iPhone 8 it is.
iphones are being made in china moron
Went from my trusty Note 4 to the new Note 8 last week, the difference is amazing and worth every single dollar of the $1000 paid for it. Much smoother of an experience and the VR is so polished compared to the dev kit I had with my Note 4.. No more overheating!
I use a wallet kind of thing on mine. Whenever you're not looking at your phone you can close it. My screen is still good after several months with it, and I had the same thing on my S5 for years before I got the new one.
Nexus 6P
Love it
got a xiaomi too, great bang for buck
>satisfied
lifewire.com
And Apple is not a Chinese company.
Did you even read your own link?
Mate 9 and P9 are two different phones
Galaxy S4
Fuck MP3s. Songs keep getting interrupted by other processes. Not seamless.
Surfing Sup Forums tabs will sometimes refresh and lose posts. If thread dies, all the posts disappear.
Gets hot. Stopped my tunes due to overheating, once.
Dropped it so many times. Cracked screen without dropping it first, tho. Glass missing from corners. Charger receptacle would restart the phone if the cable slanted left or right because of the usb size. ($ store cable fixed problem and charges faster.)
2 years old.
I did, and it's made everywhere, mostly asia. But I still wouldn't be supporting a Chinese company, as Apple is american.
It's made in China by Foxconn and Pegatron. Foxconn who used to make rubbish motherboards.
Me thinks he is trolling.
I have a Nokia C7 I bought brand new 2010.
First smartphone I ever got, don't really see why I should change it since it works perfectly fine.
And I don't use wifi or internet at all in my phone so the battery lasts at least 3 days.
>pic related, same phone but mine is dark grey
Galaxy s7 edge (international) and I'm more than satisfied
Galaxy G8
Was awesome until the first update, now it's shit.
Just on my third day with a Note8.
Unbelievable phone.
Note 8 here too, I work for a cell phone provider so I got mine for five hundred.
LG Stylo 3. Got it mostly so I could play vr games on it. I actually prefer LG over most other brands because LG phones all have user replaceable batteries. Now if they would just bring back slide-out physical keyboards...
Samsung S8. Brilliant. Good size too
I have an Oukitel K6000 Pro.
Some Chinese brand.
Very fucking happy with it... only cost me £140 brand new.
Specs:
>5.5-inch IPS Display, 1080 x 1920 pixels (403ppi).
>1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 CPU with 2GB RAM.
>Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).
>6000 mAh Battery with Fast Charging.
>32GB Storage, up to 32GB memory card.
>13MP (interpolated 16MP) Rear Camera and 5MP (interpolated 8MP) Front Camera.
>4G LTE (up to 150 Mbps download).
>Fingerprint Sensor (Rear).
It's fucking huge and heavy because of the battery size but for how much I use it, the battery lasts about 5 days on a single charge.
Note4
It's too heavy..(one of the heaviest phones in last 5 years)
S8+ and can not be more happy untill S9 lol
Lumia 950. Works great except the app devs just flat out REFUSE to make windows phone apps.
I'll probably move to a Surface phone when one comes out just so I actually get some app support. Hopefully it will run on intel and not qualcomm....
OnePlus 5, 8gb ram, 128gb storage. That shit's lightning fast
Oneplus 5 here. It's fucking fast with 8gb of RAM. The camera is insane
