I recently went on HRT. Not like a large dose meant to cause huge physical changes. More like a smaller amount that makes my dysphoria not such a big deal.

After a few weeks on a low dose, my head sort'a straightened out and I could function like a normal person.

I wouldn't mind fully transitioning at all. However, where I'm sitting now is perfectly livable compared to when my dysphoria was eating away at me.

Because A trans person's brain anatomy is closer to the brain of the opposite sex, but not quite. Fixing my hormone levels to match that similarity stabilizes my mood.

You can actually find this stuff if you read at least the abstracts from peer reviewed NHS studies.

just be happy with the body you have m8, it is not good for you to take hormones that your body wasn't meant for. If you are a male and think you are female,or vice versa, fine. Just accept that you were born in the wrong body and be done with it, don't fuck up your health because of it. i don't know. I got it in my head one day that I'm trans and in the wrong body and now I can't get it out. So I'm giving myself a couple more years of suffering and if it's still not sorted out by then I will start looking into killing myself.

1. Don't even consider transitioning until you've tried every single thing possible short of suicide. Our society celebrates gender dysphoria, which is a mental disorder, and so many people end up killing themselves because transitioning didn't solve anything, and now they're just depressed and can't go back.
Mental/emotional disorders are just imbalances of chemicals in your brain.

2. Get your testosterone level checked. Read up about the many benefits of testosterone, such as focus, energy, health, lower depression, increased sex drive.
So many men have far below average levels of T, because of our culture of emasculation and lazyness.
There many easy ways of increasing your testosterone. Exercise and lift weights. Take Zinc and Vitamin D3 daily. Reduce sugar. Find ways to reduce stress and/or meditate.

3. Already mentioned in 2, but LIFT WEIGHTS. Cannot stress this enough.
If you have depression or any other mental/emotional disorders, its like a enemy in the darkness that you can't see or predict. Every day is a battle.
But depression/anxiety can't stand up to the crushing weight of the barbell.
In the gym there's only numbers. You simoly set a extremely clear goal and you achieve it. Next time, you increase that goal and you achieve it again. And again. And again. Routine and predictability is good.
Not to mention improved mood and confidence due to release of endorphins and getting stronger every day.

4. Meditate. Nowadays, our brains are more clogged than ever. I use Headspace and its been really helpful.

5. Drink lots of water. Go drink some right now.

6. Fix your diet. No more sugary drinks. No more cakes or chocolate. Lots of meat and vegetables.
No more beer. Hard liquor or wine only.

7. Find/invest in a hobby. Nothing like something that you love doing that you can escape to and bring you joy.


8. Join a social club/group.

9. Find someone you deeply trust just to catch up and keep tabs and vulnerable with each other. So often we think noone in this world cares about us but thats just not true. You have to reach out first.

10. Seek professional help. They know better than anyone how to help/treat what your struggling with, and will provide you with a plan of action for the battle in your mind.

11. Fix the rest of your life. Take steps to improve your grades, or find a job.
Mend any destroyed relationships you have with family or childhood friends.

12. Cut out social media. That includes instagram and snapchat. These are proven to make people more depressed and anxious.

Follow this guide and anyone can now be halfway of becoming a fully functional human being.
