See this is the problem with the label Dungeon SYNTH.
Something like this, which aesthetically and sonically fits the genre and is for all intents and purposes part of the same style, has to be discluded because it isn't synth focused.
Using the label Dungeon Synth immediately removes many possibilities for experimentation with live instrumentation, even if it rolls off the tongue.
Dungeon synth
I like dungeon synth that is not too metal/noisy.
For example I've just listened to this and I loved it:
moonworshipper.bandcamp.com
Any recommendations?
>all those moonworshipper shills
ewww
What's wrong with the label?
Is it ran by African vampires?
Well no, I know if acts that use live stuff in the right conjunction with synths such that it can still be called ds
best to come out of here
Overseas shipping really is a bitch but people are willing to pay for it, both ways, so who cares
All shilling is gay plus moonworshipper is run by a bunch of degenerates from Nebraska who barely even make what could be called ds. They get a bunch of hype for being kool but really they’re trendy doods who don’t care about the genre
Reminder: spics aren’t allowed to listen to ds. Especially chubby ones who use Spotify
Also ds as a term becomes less useful the more inclusively and flexibly it’s applied so I’m frankly not looking to slap the label on everything that I can
