Survive? Sure. Remain a TV powerhouse? Not so sure. Westworld is great, but stupid, impatient people will fall off the wagon if they keep on being so vague. Game of Thrones has had to spoonfeed simple things to avoid this. They intend on Westworld being their new rating flagship, but it will probably be too...Nolan-ish.
Westworld had the highest debut rating since True Detective season 1.

Westworld is Spoonfeeding: The Show and exactly on par quality wise with recent seasons of Game of Thrones (i.e. monumentally shitty).

I think Westworld will be a pretty successful show and they're certainly banking on it being one, but I'm not sure it'll reach GOT popularity. It so far doesn't have the characters and drama that GOT has.
