Pronunciation of your countries' name

How do you pronunciate your counties' name in your language to English. An apostrophe denotes the accent/stress

It's start, as a Dutchfag:

Náy-durr-land (the 'a' as in the English can't, not the American)

pi-li-pí-nas

No 'F' at all??

ar-hent-ee-nah

Ing ger land here

we can't pronounce the 'F'; it was originally fi-li-pí-nas

bél-g*ie-jè

g* = soft G, something most foreigners can't seem to pronounce no matter how hard they try
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hard_and_soft_G_in_Dutch

è = en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schwa

Es-pa-nya

Is it Ar-hent-éé-nas?

lolwut

You can't pronounce the 'F' seriously? Pih-lee-péé-nas?

'F' doesn't exist in our native language.

Yes, it would be
Ar-hent-éé-na

bu-ra-ji-ru

bul-garrr-eee-ah

The "u" is the "u" in "cunt"

As a Dutchfag I know how difficult this can be yeah hehe

Interesting

So not ...-nas but ...-na
Ar-hen-téé-na

Bro I've been on Holiday there and they said Brá-see-you, the last 2 really short after another. Like Brá-zeew actually

and yes, it's correct.

just vacaroo it all, its much easier

>Ar-hen-téé-na
exactly
>Brá-zeew
that's the way

Flanders:

Vlaanderen =

>"vl"
>"aa

Hard to explain to English speakers, but actually really simple, It's like you say "eye" but without the "ye". But most English speakers I tried to explain this too seem to think "eye" is a singly sound ("I"), which it isn't.

>"n"
>"durr"
>"un"
Like "urn" without the r.

>Flanders
But yeah I know my neighbours.
VL-AA(when the doctor makes you say AAAA with open mouth)-N--Durr-uhn

The ameritard's got a point. Which on of us is going to Vocaroo their own countries name or all other's here

Yew-gnat-ib Stay-tsb Ubb Uh-MURR-rigg-uh-b

chess-kah re-pooblikah

hahahaha brilliant

Where's the accent on? Re-póóblikah?

>jew-knighted-stay-ts-ubb-uhmer-eekka

i prefer to be called amerilard

the most stupid thread ever. nobody gives a fuck how exactly you pronounce it in your subhuman '""""""""""language"""''"""""""

ee-sti

Long e in front is like e in elephant. Sti is like the start of stick.

Perfect

This is what I thought. Thanks mate. I've had sex with MANY of your fine women on the Antoniusstrasse in Germany. Thanks for that

éh-stih?

Said the Russian HAHAHAHAH

My apologies

dutch isn't even a real language. it's a bastardised german bubbling

Pretty much, the ee is extra long like muh dicc

Lol. Said the third world faggot who's country can't even provide SANITARY (like a toilet) for over 10% of its residents

éééééhhh-stih.

>dutch isn't even a real language. it's a bastardised german bubbling
You know Russian is just a bastardised version of muh Old Church Slavonic a.k.a. medieval Bulgarian, right?
Hail Pootin.

legit had no fucking idea that prostitution is legal in Germany
I'll be in Berlin around August might come in handy

Prostitution is legal in Estonia as well and the age of consent is 14. This created a situation where u could become a legal prostitute at the age of 14. Dunno if it's been fixed now

AFAIK it;s legal in Germany and in my country the Netherlands. Antoniusstrasse is a famout street in Aachen

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aachen

where you can fuck for €30,-. Hot chicks even if you go at the right time.

Here in the NL drugs are close to legal unless you're selling. Drug use is perfectly legal, I got 8 grams of cocaine back from a cop bacause I fucking GAVE it to him when they were doing a weapon search and it wasn't packed in singles.

In Germany drugs is worse than child rape

>You know Russian is
It isn't. Church Slavonic was one of the largest sources of borrowings into Russian, but it wasn't the basis of it.

>medieval Bulgarian
I don't even know what's more retarded: the fact that so-called "Proto-Bulgarian" and "Medieval Bulgarian" belong to two different language families or their co-existence in one country.

I was worries about this here [NL] as well. Age of consent is 16, I could legally fuck a 16 year old bu no.. I only learned about this pretty recently (I'm nearly 31 now) but porn and prostitution is still 18+ but to be honest. I find 18 year old too fucking young too bot either. I would not have sex with most 18 year olds because they look and act like children.

Anyone who does is a paedophile. There's no wiggle room. If you want to fuck an 18 year old above the age of 25 ish (arbitrary) you're a fucking paedophile. Period

>totally ok with paying for sex
>prostitution in my country is a shady risky thing
Well... fuck

Belgum in Dutch
>België: Bel - ch - e - yu
The g is a soft and should be formed in your throat. Belgians have a way softer g than Dutchmen though

Flanders:
>Vlaanderen: Vl - aa - nd - u - run
Open your mouth widly if you pronounce the 'aa'

There's no significant accent, I put "oo" there to simulate the u in "put" for example

Two different countries. I've had sex with prostitutes but they we're all AL LEAST 20+. If not 30+

lord
your women are too 10/10 for that shit

good to know that amsterdam & rotterdam are not at the top of my bucket list for nothing

>I don't even know what's more retarded: the fact that so-called "Proto-Bulgarian" and "Medieval Bulgarian" belong to two different language families or their co-existence in one country.
Well, my country actually has a long history (I know that's hard because in Russia you call churches ancient if they're like 4 centuries old). Proto-Bulgarian is a lost language of the Bulgars pre-9th century. Medieval Bulgarian is the Bulgarian language since 9th century. But it's ok for a Russian to not know such things, you probably think your alphabet comes from Lenin or some shit.

Uhm... virtually all the prostitutes here are Romanian

So chess-káh re-poobl-í-kah is fine??
Fuck off. Learn some linguistic properties

we gotta export something too, don't we

I always hear that with various nationalities (Romanian, Russian, Bulgarian, etc.). When you go to a prostitute do you actually ask for her nationality or you just assume she's x because of reasons? And no, I doubt you're all good at recognising accents.

Look at this damage control haha. No she is because she TELLS you. She's looking for a "husband" to "love" and who can "trust" her.

But lets back to the OP. Pronunciation

VL-aaaaaah-uh-ms

ouch

>Look at this damage control haha.
Where the fuck did you see damage control?

>No she is because she TELLS you.
Yeah, you go there and she's saying "Hello, my name is REAL NAME and I come from COUNTRY"

>I know that's hard because in Russia
>But it's ok for a Russian to not know

>trying this hard to be edgy
>justifying the naming autism of his countrymen
It would be the same thing as if we called the 8th century East Slavic dialects "Medieval Russian" and the language of Varangians - "Ancient Russian". That's just stupid. Decide who exactly you are already.

>It would be the same thing as if we called the 8th century East Slavic dialects "Medieval Russian" and the language of Varangians - "Ancient Russian". That's just stupid. Decide who exactly you are already.
No, it wouldn't. Muh ancestors actually called themselves Bulgarians since at least the 7th century. You Moscovites called yourselves a dozen different things.

Kek, I bet clients go there to have profound discussions about the geopolitics and culture of Romania and Bulgaria

Svä rr ye

Spouting meme arrow shit while fucking

>you
>white

>only 50 billion GDP
>relevant

>Muh ancestors actually called themselves Bulgarians since at least the 7th century
doubt.jpg

That's not even the point though. The more important thing is if someone actually called the Slavic dialects spoken in the Tsardom "Bulgarian language". I'm pretty sure it was just "Cлoвѣньcкъ ѩзыкъ" at that period of time, which makes referring to it as "Old Bulgarian" kind of anachronistic.

>if you fuck adults you are a pedophile
we have come full circle
