Learn French or German for a start, then start learning their neighboring languages and so on.

d'accord

i'm learning some french right now, i just need to stay motivated

>french
meh
>algerian arabic

>kabyle
Now we're talking. Interesting Berber language spoken by 5 million people? Very cool.

ⵜⴰⵏⴻⵎⵉⵔⵜ

Men det gor jeg allerede, weil ich es leicht finde. Germanska språk liknar varanda, so there's a ton of overlap.

>Portuguese
>English
>A tad little bit of all latin languages
>Learning Latin

Well, being a monkey seems to be not so bad now.

now those look like some actual moonrunes

>i just need to stay motivated
Tu peux le faire, user !

>didn't keep cases and 3 genders from papa latin
absolutely disgusting

I know Spanish and English

I've never been in a situation where I needed to learn anything else

>he just realised french is fucked up
boi it's vulgar latin with gaulish and frank words in it

Why not?

This. Native english speakers don't need to learn anything else since everybody is learning english anyway. You guys are very lucky, I'm jealous.

>didn't keep cases and 3 genders from papa latin
Did you?

>flag
Why am I not surprised?

>know norwegian
>automatically understand swedish, danish and parts of faroese

>meh

RUDE

>gaulish influence on French

That's fucking nothing

>know English and Korean
>Having Korean as my mother tongue doesn't really help me learning another language. (Japanese maybe but it isn't as similar as English is to French or Spanish)

>tfw learning Japanese

I can understand every eastern Berber language + Riffian, I can also understand Maltese.
I just can't speak them.

What does your 'name' mean? How do you even type that?

Lexilogos Amazigh keyboard

"Prophet Alexander"

Fluent in
>English
>Bulgarian

Learned high-intermediate Spanish but school made it so boring that it put me off from taking it to fluency. Fucking hate the grammar

Learning
>Russian
Easy, sounds badass
>Korean
Funnest grammar ever, easy alphabet

Thinking of learning Arabic or Persian after those. Not sure

>tfw 3 languages

Scottish and Manx are easy to pick up since I can speak Irish so that's potentially 5. Esperanto is easy too so that is 6 potential languages without too much difficultly. Plus I intend to fall for the Japanese meme

i speak serbian, italian and english and understand most varities
i've had latin in high school which i understand a little and also french in middle school which i have mostly forgotten

ye
kinda
the neuter is halway dissolved
and accusative/nominative and genitive/dative have the same forms
but yeah

>Why am I not surprised?
Because, as Americans, we are native speakers of the global lingua franca, so most of us simply don't have any reason to learn another language. Also, due to our large, diverse population and variation of legal and educational systems by state, it's probable that this individual did not have a basic education that would be comparable to that of western Europe. Finally, Americans are the largest nationality represented on this board, so it's always a relatively safe bet that any post on here could be made by an American.

Did that answer your question, you snide little puke?

Kek.
Fluent in -
>Swedish
>Northern Sami
>Norwegian
>Danish
>English
Learning and can (hopefully) communicate in -
>German
>Dutch
>Russian
Hopefully fluent in those within a few years as well.

>when you speak 2 foreign languages but non of them fluently

fluent english and learning german

Nice, would that mean that romanian didn't evolve from vulgar latin but a different branch of classical latin? Iirc vulgar latin didn't have it already.
Alternatively don't you think the neuter genre in romanian isn't due to slavic influence? Or it doesn't exist in slavic languages too?

>mfw fluent in 3 languages (Italian, Portuguese, English)
>mfw learning Spanish and Greek
>mfw will learn Latin and French Later
truly patrician

know 4
