My friend is in high school in America and he told me that there are a group of pseudo-Nazis there that support Trump, have SS bolts in their twitter icons and have pepe pins on their backpacks.

I knew someone in college who had a sister going to high school in the deep American South. When trump got elected, she said that her sister was being harassed by her fellow white students and being called the nword and all of that racist bullshit.
A lot of white american's are race blind, but a lot of Trump's rhetoric was interpreted racially by both his supporters and opponents.
I don't think the alt-right is really as new as you think it is. Trump just gave them the courage to come out of the woodwork.

It still isn't socially acceptable to be part of the alt-right, if that is what you are getting at. The racist aspects of the alt-right movement come out of the southern states and have infected the rest of the country.
It was the racism in the south that infected Europe after the first World War and led to the rise of Hitler. It was Wilson's "self-determination" idea that was basically a rehashed version of the racist south's separate but equal ideology. This gave Hitler the justification he needed to build up the German Empire in the period leading up to the second world war.

I live in the suburbs of a city. And everyone here is far right. Everyone I speak to is right wing. It's just considered common sense here.
But when I go to the city center people are left wing. Sometimes I talk to people there and they imagine right wing people must be rural hicks. Because there are no right wingers in the city center. In fact, the poorest people who live in the center are often used as the stereotypical right wingers. They are uncivilized and have all negative qualities after all. Despite that those poor people actually all voted for the "elitist" GreenLeft party.

I sort of predicted this back in 2011 though. I was a high school sophomore then and I felt the pendulum swinging to the right on the internet thanks to chan sites. I knew it wasn't going to be enough to get Romney a victory back in 2012, but I knew it was going to get us a Republican president in 2016, and look what happened. What no one could predict was that it was going to be Donald fucking Trump of all people. I think as this administration keeps failing to make the changes that people here expect to solve every issue in their life, we'll see the pendulum swing back left.
