Remember, if you want to live in the states you'd better speak english well, but also be willing to live among foreigners.
I have seen many koreans who stick to living within 'koreatown'.
This does not help you maintain your english; you need to speak it in your daily life.
Anyways getting a job in the states could earn you more money, but you also need to remember you need the SKILL AND GRADES for the job as well.
Cost of living varies from state to state, and by city to city, but in the end, if you are one of the 흙수저 without a strong economic base, your quality of life will not change very much.
Also, medical treatment is overall more cheaper in korea thanks to your 국민건강보험. America has obamacare, but not as robust as korea's.

나는 한국에서 국제학교 다니고 이제 올해 졸업 앞두고 있어서 SAT 시험 (미국수능) 준비하면서 느낀거라면 수학은 영문용어만 알면 우리니라 고딩수학보다 더 쉅지만 SAT독해부분은 복잡한 단어가 있어서 좀 여렵다...
사실 내가 주는 조언이 도움이 될지 모르겠다
