>Brits will unironically defend this
Brits will unironically defend this
Why are you yanks so fucking retarded in literally EVERY aspect of life? God, 9/11 best day of my life.
...
Lol americans are so stupid
but UK is right
UK is right, murrica is dumb as always
Americans are right on this one
>ground floor comes first and first floor comes second
Brits are right.
I accidentally gave wrong directions to an Indian exchange student when I used the American system for first floor and she understood it as the floor above ground floor
Uh it literally isn't dumb gringo on vacation
retarded argie
There is no 'comes first' until you get to the first floor. Ground level is just ground level, a standard any kind of construction has.
For once the american is right. Bless you.
>ground level doesn't have a floor
lol usa
you never cease to amuse me
How it can be a floor if it's at ground level?
I don't understand what you're trying to say
>First floor of a building is somehow not first floor, it's when you go up one floor, to the second floor, that is the first floor for yuros
hmm really tinkers my dinkers
Are you fucking drunk?
I support the USA side
>How it can be a floor if it's at ground level?
...
...
>starting your index at 1 instead of 0
retards
>sir i just finished the concept art for our building
>great, how many floors are there?
>25
>I count 26
>oh yeah, there's also a ground floor
>floors are arrays
Because it has a floor? Do italians not have floors on their first floor?
>using G for ground
what do they use for garage then?
kek
We use RC for ground and G for garage.
>23 KB, 236x310
Nice quality picture lmao.
I thought Germans say Erdgeschoss, or was I taught wrong?
>in the UK
the first floor is the second floor and the second floor is the third floor
FFS.
explain how they are not arrays
-1
>Americans call the basement 0
Basement1 actually. Usually marked as B1
UK is in the right on this one.
But they're right
just look at all the neutral replies
you're wrong sweetie
sorry sweaty ;)
i don't live on the 0th floor
I have to admit that the Amerishart one is more logical, although we name them like the Brits
No they fucking aren't.
It's like this:
3
2
1
0
-1
-2
-3
But Americans use two completely different systems depending on whether you are above or below ground.
>Ground floor
>2nd floor
>3rd floor
...
>12th floor
>14th floor
>15th floor
...
objectively correct one
This
t. we use the british way, have always think it's retarded
Fuck you I will fight you.
No tienen/dicen Planta Baja (pb) en sus países?
You don't say "floor one", you say "first floor". Ordinal numbers typically start from 1st, 0th is only used in math
3
2
1
B1
B2
B3
This is best.
Aqui dizemos 'rés-do-chão'.
>americans still haven't discovered the concept of zero
as long as the floors are properly labeled and consistent then who cares?
they could name them things completely unrelated to numbers and I wouldn't care as long as the buttons in the elevator matched
>mfw the first floor of a house on stilts in dingdongland is the """ground floor"""
because we no longer live in mud huts and words have meanings
I don't take linguistic direction form fuckers who call a stove top a hob.
>t. man who boils water in microwave
I actually own an electric kettle, I have to agree with you on that one, much better.
>How it can be a floor if it's at ground level?
Just like their dress sizes.
Sí, pero que el primer piso este arriba y no sea el primero es tonto.
>a house on stilts
>"i've never heard of the programming languages with a default base index of 1"
Ever heard of a house on a mountain?
...
Not him but we don't really do that in the UK.
Rare but yes. Have you ever heard of something called foundations?
Where's the "ground" here, Britcucks?
Negative floors don't make any sense and shouldn't exist.
Yes. Have you ever heard of something called mud slides?
Well then underground car parks are fucked.
No they're the basement levels. Basement 1, Basement 2, etc.
...
>How it can be a floor if it's at ground level?
What sort of inbred yokel would build something in a region vulnerable to such things? Who build something somewhere like that in a country as vast as America and land is so cheap?
It stood up and leave.
...
Rich people want to live in the mountains of California, and the mountains are very nice places to be.
(again not him) I visited California a few years ago and the ridiculous level of humidity kept sending me to sleep.
Not somewhere I'd call very nice.
The mountains are dry though. You get some humidity but it last for like a week.
Haha
I'm from LA, and I can't tell you we aren't humid by American standards. You'd die in Austin.
Shitaly strikes again.
>ground floor
>yard
>foot
>inch
>mile
>pound
>gallon
>spoon
>teaspoon
>tablespoon
>pint
>ounce
>quart
>acre
>rood
>inch
>cup
>quart
>fahrenheit
Fucking western freaks i swear
What's your problem with teaspoons?
Also stop namefagging you wanker.
>all these (You)s
T. Hacker of brexit and the us election.
...
...
those are shit tier languages
>>spoon
>>teaspoon
>>tablespoon
Explain.
They're for different purposes and come in different sizes, it isn't that difficult to wrap your mind around.
Murica is right. We also use it in Russia.
>electronvolt
>lightyear
>solarmass
What the fuck were these scientists doing?
but we use both systems????
if a building only has 3 or 4 floors we use the "american" system
if it is tall we use the "british" system
so do americans call the only compartment in single story house first floor? wheres the second?
No, I mean what is his problem with spoons. And a fucking cup.
"hey cunt where did you park"
"uhh floor negative 2 bruv"
Good post
The Europakis are right, its called ground floor because its in the ground level (~0m above ground) thus the next level is the first floor (first floor built)
Americucks probably use that system because they're too stupid to use sunken foundations (i.e. pylons) and they build a huge slab of wood or mezzanine to build their McMansions on it, technically its the first floor
>Europakis
>Americucks
back to your containment board juan
>Europakis
>Americucks
Why are you so rude when referring to people?
