Do you find it jarring that, even thought we live in a time where our favorite comic-book characters are getting adapted to the big screen and getting to live in a cinematic universe, their movies have little to no iconic or memorable scenes?
Think about it. Before Iron-Man, capemovies were full of iconic moments like Joker's Interrogation

Blade's club scene:

X-Men's White House attack scene:

The entirety of the Spider-Man trilogy:

The Gulmira fight:

And even the plane crash from Superman Returns:

Those moments still remain in the public's eye, you can watch them again and still feel the same.
But what about 2009-Present capemovies? None of them have scenes that can stand the test of the time. At best one will remember those for a few months, but then any memory you have will fade away.
What went wrong?
Do you find it jarring that...

tl;dr
you expect us to read all that and watch seven videos to understand your post?
>before iron man
>joker interrogation
Tdk came out after iron man
>you expect us to read all that
Minus the videos (which were rather unnecesary i admit) the post is pretty short.
Films made before Iron Man.
Nice copypasta.
the gulmira fight isn't iconic at all
You missed the most iconic one

The airport scene in Civil War was the most memorable scene from a comic book movie bar none. Fight me DKEKKLE
I can see through your false-flagging DKek.
MOS, despite having some good scenes, has not scenes that will go down as the best in the history of capeshit. Not even BvS, which was the duel of very iconic superheroes, have scenes like those.
I, however, liked what they tried to do.
>our favorite comic-book characters
This board is for grownups little fella, if you have a "favorite comic-book character" you're too young to be here.
>The entirety of the Spider-Man trilogy
>And even the plane crash from Superman Returns
>X-Men's White House attack scene
do fuck off op
>>The entirety of the Spider-Man trilogy
OP is a fag but he's right about that. Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy had a ton of memorable moments and Spider-Man 2 is still the best capeshit movie.
no it's not, it's shit, the entire trilogy is shit, the acting is cringeworthy, the direction is laughable, tobey maguire is the worst and the cgi hasnt aged at all, fuck off
>Movies from my youth stand out in my mind while movies in my twenties/thirties do not
That's not the fault of the movie, dillcock.
>the cgi hasnt aged at all
How is this a bad thing retard?
+well
You obviously watched these movies growing up. That's why those scenes stuck with you. I would put the Bucky/Cap vs Ironman fight up against any of those scenes.
What fucking terrible taste. I bet you enjoy all of the MCU movies.
It's because the properties were split between different studios and directors were often forced to think ouside the box to make their movies stand out from one another instead of adhering to a single formula/cinematic universe.
Of course, for every great movie that was made (Spider-Man) there were a dozen duds (Ghost Rider, Catwoman, etc.). But the highs were much higher than it is now.
neo-Sup Forums really is the cancer killing this place
>the acting is cringeworthy
Nah, the acting perfectly suits the tone of the trilogy. The villains are very hammy and Tobey is dweeby but it's all intentional. It's supposed to feel like a silver age comic book.
>the direction is laughable
It's some of the best and most stylistic direction a superhero movie series has ever had. Raimi is an auteur.
>tobey maguire is the worst
I bet you jerk off to Andrew Garfield and his terrible Spider-Man movies.
>the cgi hasnt aged at all
So? This is a problem with EVERY superhero movie that has been made within the last fifteen years except for Nolan's Batman trilogy. Also, Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy will end up aging better than most superhero movies because Raimi used a ton of practical effects and sets whereas most superhero movies tend to over-rely on green screen.
not posting the dark knight opening shiggy
>those scenes
>iconic
>no HONKA HONKA
>no MARTHA
