Is it about the Queen of England?
I thought I liked it but someone posted that it was trash so now I hate it
Elizabeth II i think
Idk if I should watch it or not
>its a show that depicts a female monarch in her younger years and glorifies her at every step because 'muh vagina, step aside male rulers'
Good call. He might have just been shitposting, but we can't risk having lower standards than some other user, can we?
>we
Fuck off
it's the royal we
>implying I would ever give a Netflix Original Series the time of day
>the monarch shouldn't be glorified
heresy
6/10
>glorifies her
I'm American, there's no such thing as glorfying the English crown, regardless of sex.
Kek
saw the guy that just got knighted kiss the queen and got pissed off from them being in love with eachother, shit show dont watch this propaganda crap
¿
But what if the sex is really good?
post knicker screencaps pls
also claire foy is real sexy i saaw her in wolf hall and jerked off every time she said cromwell
is it worth watching or not? im not going to waste my time if Sup Forums says is bad
It's in the philosophical American bill of rights.
Thou shalt never bow before royalty, even if she swallows.
is there any sex /nude scenes?
Its refreshing to have a competent female as a leader
>shitflix
>quite like monarchy tv series
there is my dilemma
>its a female ruler says womens duty is to lay down and think of england episode
literally where can I get this
It's good so far, starting episode two. The girl playing Elizabeth is great and based. It's by the guy who made The Queen so I expect it to stay good.
Just pirate it senpai.
Based lane from mad men is king george*
Thx phone
>It's by the guy who made The Queen
thanks my friend, will give it a go
>2016
>monarchy
You brits are so backwards, why the fuck would you accept some cunt ruling you from her palace when all she's ever done is have ancestors that were larger and more brutish than others at the time?
>having this discussion in 2016
not the best idea is it, considering your way of politics will have you choose between Trump or Hillary in 3 days
Enjoy broheim
Elizabeth a cute
Hows the european union coming along?
The monarchy is nice
t. american
f-fine. J-just a h-hiccup
Not him, but what's with the question? May stated they would begin the process of leaving by April 2017.
He could smell the beta musk and the stale bong hits not even above 30 miliscoobs - not even enough to be called semi-moderately dank.
Trump is going to make America great again.
You need to go back.
were hanging on the thread that MPs will be loyal to their constituencies and disregard their own political view on the matter.
Our only hope is May pushing the idea the vote is a vote of confidence in this government
What will happen if the MPs vote against what the people voted for
WE WERE QUEENZ AIND SHIT
hopefully May will have the balls to call a snap election, and labour seats will crumble hopefully in the North if UKIP sort themselves out asap. UKIP can sweep at least 20 constituencies if they get their act together and labour MP's in the north vote remain
If this happens please get based Farage to lead the way again
>but what's with the question?
>haha you have to choose between hillary and trump
gee I wonder
>were hanging on the thread that MPs will be loyal to their constituencies and disregard their own political view on the matter.
Who said there would be a vote? There's no legal requirement for there to be one, and following the will of the people would be triggering Article 51, so either way, a vote in Parliament should be dispensed with.
I'm also American, but I'm not going to press it, but your comment doesn't make that much sense considering Brexit passed.
>who said there would be a vote
fair enough, but its upto parliament to decide so its very likely. I can't see the appeal winning
>but its upto parliament
You mean the PM? Again, I know of no inherent legal requirement that there be a parliamentary vote to trigger Article 51. May might do so, but only because it would be too politically unfeasible otherwise, but that invites the possibility that Parliament could vote contrary to the people.
>You mean the PM?
no mate not that. The High Court this week overruled the referendum we all voted on 23rd June and stated its a parliament decision now. Meaning there has to be a consensus in parliament. Practically a vote, but May's government is appealing the decision
its article 50 as well my friend
The Queen doesn't have power. She's a figurehead.
You'd know this if you weren't a fucking imbecile.
And a country that has a chance of an orange, illiterate reality TV star becoming leader has no right to complain about the system of government in other nations.
Oh. Thanks for those corrections. I'm glad HMG were so strongly considering not holding a vote on the matter, as it should be unnecessary, as the people have spoken, though legally, they could be required to do so.
>The Queen doesn't have power. She's a figurehead.
Yeah, a "figurehead" with the power to dissolve parliament.
>inb4 but she'd never do that
not all figureheads (existing or soon to be) are megalomaniacs senpai
You enjoying that royal cock up your arse?
Why are they doing a series on the current queen. As far as I can tell she hasn't done shit.
>And a country that has a chance of an orange, illiterate reality TV star becoming leader
I can't wait for your butthurt in a few days.
lol almost all the polls show Clinton winning by several points.
I honestly hate all this historical revisionism for the sake of "muh equality". Elizabeth isn't some strong ruler, she just married into the right family.
If we wanted a movie about the Queen, then it should at least focus half on the King. The king is the head of Britain, so why make a show based entirely around his wife? Who gives a shit about her?
Not watching this show, it's just more American revisionist shit like Star Wars
You mean the ones that oversample democrats by 10%?
Trump is now TIED in Michigan.
Prepare your anus.
Claire Foy is a fucking awful actress and Matt Smith has no range, so no.
Usually they would do it after the monarch's death but they got tired of waiting for her to die.
You drumpfkins are going to be so disappointed in a couple days.
>Not watching this show, it's just more American revisionist shit like Star Wars
What history did Star Wars revise
>drumpfkins
lmao
So much salt it's hilarious.
Even Cenk Uglier from the young turds released a video where he's literally crying scared trump is going to win.
We're finally going to see the end of corporate fascism in america in the next few days and it's going to be glorious.
>it's a "Netflix wants some of those Downton Abbey emmys" episode
>>Even Cenk Uglier from the young turds released a video where he's literally crying scared trump is going to win.

based water filter man
But Elizabeth was King George's eldest child and heir apparent. There is no King. Her husband is a former Greek and Danish prince.
>I don't know anything about anything the post.
You clearly know nothing about the royal family and seemingly haven't watched the show.
In the first two episodes there's a scene where they talk about how Elizabeth kept 'to obey' in her wedding vows and she wanted to keep lieutenant-commander Greeks adoptive name as her own.
She wanted nothing but to be a simple housewife.
>American revisionist shit like Star Wars
kekd at this. What the fuck did you mean?
Hholy shit go oiutside ddude
That was awesome, thanks
>overruled the referendum
The referendum never had any legal binding. It was just a opinion poll.
Because the royal family is BASED and we don't have to deal with having a shit kenyan president like obongo
>The referendum never had any legal binding. It was just a opinion poll.
ok bud
But that's right though, it would have been binding if they'd passed the law to make it so before they held it, but they didn't.
>democracy is meaningless lmao
Close call there man, main character is a woman who wields some power. Total Mary Sue.
So how'd that Brexit vote go Ahmed?
They voted for sovereign parliament, they got it.
So every fucking opinion poll should have legal bindings?
My mom does.
Some good Mom Kino for sure.Have you called your mom today? Do it before it's too late...
