Can we all agree that this was quite the bomb?
Can we all agree that this was quite the bomb?
>Ending a statement in a question mark
You didn't do too well in English class, I see.
>popular = reddit
And yet Sup Forums loves Sopranos, Lost and The Wire
I see how it is
...
I thought so at the beginning but after the dust settled I realized it's basically slightly-above average TV sci. fi with plenty of bells attached.
Looks like a question to me.
>Sopranos, Lost and The Wire
None of them are popular with normies.
Was good up until the ending
Yes, it was a great season of television. Really gripping experience, well cast, acted, directed, clever, reverent/homage stuff.
You are the one who supplied the fictional 'popular = reddit' statement
Reddit is a specific type of content, like Guardians of the Galaxy or Deadpool, not simply 'something that's popular'. As you point out, LOST was popular and it isn't reddit. Gallipoli was popular and it isn't reddit
WEW.
autism
This is exactly what typifies reddit: someone who is fundamentally average but nevertheless fancies himself as a sort of subversive figure without actually stepping into the realm of true deviance.
That's the type of person who would find Deadpool's quips 'ebin' or laugh at a Rick and Morty joke, yet go and label the movie/film dichotomy as 'autism' or get outraged over pedospam threads
Sup Forums- television and film
yes
>Stranger Reddit
I too like the 80s
I wish there wasn't going to be a season 2 though. Season 1 ended in the weird unfinished way with so much shit still unexplained that a lot of 80s movies had. If they spend another season going into explaining shit it's going to lose that charm.
Show wasn't good to begin with.
It's for depressed middle-aged stay-at-home moms that are seeking a form of escapism which suits their sparse off hours from a part-time job which is required for them to keep them and their children afloat in their middle-class neighborhood.
post her already, fuckshits
...
Do you think there will be another kissing scene in Season 2?
not even. it was basically a ripoff of ET
It was good. Nothing mindlblowing, but it was good. CGI of the monster could have been better. Hopper is right behind Eleven as being the best character, to me.
and stand by me, and firestarter
and IT
Now that's what I call delusion
I'm fucking pissed off at the ending
Why did Nancy get back with shitbag steve
Why did eleven have to go away
reeeeeee I hate bad endings
btw this shot was pretty kino
Steve wasn't a shitbag.
It was cathartic watching Jonathan cream him but he owned up to his mistakes and redeemed himself.
Yes, but the arc between Nancy and Jonathan felt completely unresolved to me.
It was quite well written and then it just got thrown out the window.
Elevan dying or disappearing felt cliched too, I wasn't sure about that.
reddit: the reddit: the reddit: the show
literally lower than capeshit. I have no respect for people who watch it and actually like it.
this show was captivating, start to finish
good thing your respect is worth positively fuckall. all you jaded, purist pussies droning on about cliches and "medium class escapism" have no real argument other than your boring compulsion to be contrarian bitches. so you can't appreciate anything anymore, not my fucking problem. quit stalling, stick your hands in a toaster and fall from the highest dive into a tank of vaporous glass for all i care.
>muh respec
give me a fucking break, preferably your neck
Reddit scum
This. S2 will blow if they follow-up this story
...
This is the ultimate pleb normie show. You have to be actually stupid to think this was good.
>Can we
>Statement
I suppose we did not.
>lower than capeshit
I don't think anything can be at this point.
It was a passable 6/10 with surprisingly not shitty child actors for once. But thats about it.
Its fan base is cancerous as they never shut up about it and see it as some sort of prestige television. Which it definitely isn't.
>last episode
>to create suspense and tension, the big bad government kidnaps two of the main characters
>they let them go so that the plot can advance
How can someone be okay with this and not be braindead?
Yes, between Hopper and Joyce
>Eleven will never use her psychic powers to throw the two bully characters into the quarry to drown.
Why live?
it really wasnt that good
I just saw the comparison pic to season one. That's form the wheeler basement house. Filming has started you know. So this is purely for the script. Sorry finnley, you're still cucked.
>Sorry finnley
You don't get to call him that.
