They know the risks. Sadly, the business is not safe. Every movie some stunt people are gonna get some injuries, and from time to time stunt people are gonna get fucked up bad. And sometimes they die. It's just the reality that, to make it look "real" it has to be real.

Yes I do have some sympathy as they are meat for the studio. But the risks of doing stunts are obvious right from the start.
