Talk about being a pleb. You're the type of guy who has a go-to film/soundtrack/whatever to talk about to seem smart but when pressed have nothing else to offer. Leave these threads to the professionals kid.

>can't understand great cinematography
>uses "af"
Nah you're the real cringe here
I watched this movie in my film study class. French movies are superior to any other nation's.
>muh symmetry
...
...
Wow symmetry, so complex!!!
...
wide angle shots = kino
you seem upset my friend, whats wrong? can't you appreciate a nice shot?
Honestly, it's fantastic cinematography, but with equally fantastic set design.
Tell me, without rushing to copypaste someone you hastily google, what makes a good shot?
Le neon demon amirite
...
Warmth
Symmetry does not interest me
...
What the fuck does "warmth" mean? That's not an explanation.
are your jimmies still that rustled that you only answer with memes? what's wrong, wanna talk about it? :)
that's the entirety of what makes good shots in films? one word?
It all started when I was six, a course of events that lasted a little over six years, years I'll never forget.
My man, now who is angry?
anons you don't understand, we just don't have the intelligence to see movies the way he does
>tfw too dumb for warmth
...
Don't put yourself down like that, symmetry just doesn't interest me.
you should kill yourself
>look at thread
>no mention of glorious BLACKED yet
Honestly you are all plebs
Which horror films are well shot?
paranormal activity
I said well shot not well shit
Suzuki has never interested me.
thats the joke
Half of Halloween 2 (the 2009 one) is well shot and moody. The other half is...not.
The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, Nosferatu, Bride of Frankenstein, Psycho, Les Diaboliques
Pretty much any shot in The Revenant.
And that's about the only good feature of the movie.

It's a beautiful movie
>Which horror films are well shot?
The Shining
Does someone have one of these for Alien?
Need the spooky music to complete it all
>perfect cinematography
>offcenter

If you think that's great I'm afraid you have the sensibilities of a manchild video gamer
For those that prefer fewer shots
>It's a Sup Forums doesn't realize cinematography is more than just composition and color thread
That shot is stolen from Godzilla.
>1968
>no one must know I'm ripping off Japanese films
I actually saw it in a barn in the middle of the winter which was kinda hilarious while also being fucking cold. Made me hate the stupid movie even more.
Disgusting.
enlighten us please what a cinematic shot is, also post some examples so Sup Forums can learn
>it's a dipshit user who tries to act superior but posts nothing of his own because he has nothing to share
...
...
Cinematography threads should be webms, dummy
Oh it's the dipshit from earlier, still contributing nothing.
"Warmth" was it?
I feel like nosferatu and caligari are more German expressionist or proto-horror than straight up horror. But I will agree that they're absolutely well shot
It's me hi, but I didn't write this
Not necessarily. Cinematography is the art of using a camera to show things. That includes framing and even a motionless shot.
Autist alert
Yo doodle head, I didn't type the first one!
I like the composition

The neon demon
Seriously, what is Smee looking at in that picture?
Poetry
Thanks
He's looking at SIR? which suspects could be a double agent, because he's looking at the nearby fire that will eventually rise at the end of the scene.
We know Deakins, dude
LOTR trilogy ripe with it
