Black Mirror

Here, have my opinion.

When will the remaining 6 episodes come out, by the way?

>Be Right Back not patrician tier

yeah right fag

Pedo is god tier though

Pig fucker is boring tier

>Pig fucker is boring tier
Heard this a lot about both Pig and Bees, can you elaborate?

The strong point in this episode is how they focus on all the technical details, they really went full-scale on the "what if" scenario. The 3D replacing, the drugged pig with porn TVs, the annoying pitched buzz to drive away watchers...

Guess if you're more about characters it's not that great, but in terms of "worldbuilding", it does an awesome job.

>Whst if a politician had to fuck a pig

Yeah, everything you described is probably what would happen if it needed to happen today. It's just some crazy scenario, and the scenario itself is just random and pointless

man that final scene when the nigger is looking at the forest is patrician tier.

I guess it tickles me fancy right in the problem-solving spot. It is most satisfying seeing all the Federal Intelligence approaching an absurd task from a rational point of view.

Have you watched Dr. Strangelove, by change? Opinions?

Yes, I like Doctor Strangelove because it's witty. The humor is original and still funny today

Will this series become unwatchable in 20~30 years?

I mean, there are other sci-fi out there, but this one is so closely related with our current time, I can't see a futureling being able to discern which pieces of technology were factual and which were futuristic for our time.

Glad to see Hated In the Nation getting some love. I thought it was one of the better ones of the least season, yet everyone goes on about the lesbos.

I like the episode where someone gets cucked but in the future

I come from a Brazilian imageboard and it's the same over there, actually. There are always shitstorms between San Junipero cocksuckers and others who recognize it as a good episode, but not enough reason for all the clamor.

The consensus over there seems to be something along 3 > 4 > 6 > 5 > 1 > 2.

You mean every single episode?

what season and episode is pedo, just started watching black mirror on season 3 - loving s03e01 though really captures how much people care about what people think (reason I started on S03 is I watched s01e01 and thought it was pretty shit and IIRC S03 is the first one by netflix so I figured it might be better)

Just Dance I think it's actually called, it's in season 3.

To be honest, it's the only episode in Season 3 that I really liked. The other ones were just okay.

White Christmas and Entire History of You are probably my other 2 favorites.

Sorry, it's called "Shut up and Dance"

thanks lad, I'm emotionally connected to E01 desu the way it's an almost Orwellian world and no one can be who they are because everything holds judgement plus it shows how people only really care about social status

>S03 is the first one by netflix so I figured it might be better
Do macfags really believe this? Netflix is just a money syringe, they didn't lay a finger in the show's structure.

You'd probably like 15 Million Merits as well, it's Episode 2 of Season 1.

Not the exact same concept, but definitely 1984ish and kind of similar themes.

Shut up and dance is the best example I've ever seen of a "villian" who turns into a hero at the end

What I wanna know is: How hasn't anybody edited clips from the blue puppet episode with clips of Trump?

>a hero
Questionable.

I know most moralfags will conclude that on a first analysis, but I think the author wanted to leave it morally unresolved - was that justice? How about the crimes they committed on behalf of the troll, like robbing and killing?

I'm running linux on an X220, try again.
I'll try that one out, think I'll eventually watch them all and just skip rewatching S01E01

GARRETH DID NOTHING WRONG.

>White Christmas Asian child reveal
Laughed.

Thinking back on it, the episode was kind of stupid. If you're blocked by everyone, how would you even function in society, unless they expect you to become self-sustaining or something?

What world would you live in?

Watching the pedo episode, at the bank robbing point I'd say fuck it post the video, I mean chances are the hacker is smarter than to leak a video of an underage kid jacking it also I'm predicting the GoT guy is somehow involved I could be wrong though I'm only guessing this cause he seemed to know the kid got bullied at work but he could of just guessed that and talked him into it to serve his own interests

You can still work via written instructions/requests, I figure.

wait is this even the "pedo episode" I mean all he did was RAT a kid, film him jacking it and blackmail him -- Have I fucked up is this not the pedo episode?

>Leak the video

Well I wouldn't be so quick to say that...

Not saying I'd ever be in the kid's position, but if I was, I don't know how far I would push it. I probably wouldn't rob a bank, but I'm not sure.

Yes it is the pedo episode.

He is not underaged and the whole point of the episode is not to know he is a pedo from the get-go.

Congratulations.

Watch it again.

yeah I doubt I'd rob a bank
I figured he was under 18

not finished the episode yet just got to the part where he has to take the money through the field alone guessing this is where the pedoing happens

OH FUCK LADS A FIGHT TO THE DEATH, THIS TOOK A FUCKING TURN

Wait from that dialog it wasn't just they caught him wanking he was wanking to underage girls? is the kid getting blackmailed the pedo -- OH FUCK THEY JUST LEAKED GOT GUYS SHIT ANYWAY OH FUCK THEY'RE LEAKING EVERYTHING OH FUCK KENNY WAS THE FUCKING PEDO WHEN I READ IT'S A PEDO EPISODE I FIGURED THE HACKERS WAS THE PEDOS

Nah man. He got caught jerking it to little kids. Also there's that scene in the beginning with the little girl at the restaurant.

Like I was saying, I wouldn't ever do that, but if I was caught doing something like that, I'd probably go pretty far to keep it a secret.

Really good episode if you ask me. It flips your perspective on the entire situation once you realize what Kenny actually did

yeah I was saying I wouldn't rob a bank cause I thought he was just jacking off now it makes a lot more sense, one thing I don't get though is why would he try to kill himself then fight a guy bigger and stronger than him to stay alive, like he could have got the guy to snap his neck would have been as painless and as quick - I wonder what made him change his mind and decide to fight for his life

Honestly I wouldn't, but only because where would it end? It would have worked out better for him to come clean and get the help he needs. Then again that would make for a pretty boring episode.

I'm surprised he even won that fight, unless the guy gave up and decided it wasn't worth it.

I dunno, black mirror just seems to prove how shitty British television has become.

Your opinion is objectively wrong

Some bits of the execution are a bit off, and other times I feel they go for the most edgy ending they can think of rather than settle for something that feels more natural to the plot or actually allow the characters to grow.

I see a lot of potential for this show, but they really gotta improve a few things to hit that Twilight Zone level of quality. Either way I really enjoy it for what it is.

actually lads you know whats pissing me off about this episode
>knows where to find child porn
>calls it malware and not virus
>sister asks him to fix his electronics
And yet he doesn't cover his fucking webcam? or use a live linux usb for looking at child porn I mean really but on the other hand there's stuff that indicates he doesn't know about computers
>instead of putting a password on his laptop he installs a fucking lock on his door
>doesn't have a password on a machine he uses to look at child porn
the more I think about this episode the more pissed off I get

I'm pretty sure it's done way too many times, in better manner i.e more realistic, well thought out scheme.

I've had similar thoughts on this episode, it's honestly absurd how bad he is about security. I don't even understand how he didn't get caught prior to these events.

yeah I mean judging by some of the shit this kid does he wasn't downloading it from IRC invite only channels through a VPN like any sane person would he was probably googling Siberian mouse and just clicking links till he found a working video

I wouldn't consider him/her a hero, only a troll trying to justify one's actions through the selected target's shittiness.

>I'd probably go pretty far to keep it a secret
Would you go that far if you know your secret won't be kept anyway? I mean it doesn't take a too bright person to know that these "hackers" won't just keep their promise and let you off.
I rolled my eyes the entire episode. I don't even know he's a pedo till the fight. That doesn't save it for me either. Also this episode has the least futuristic theme, which is what I watch Black mirror for.

>I can't see a futureling being able to discern which pieces of technology were factual and which were futuristic for our time.

I still watch Blade Runner and The
Outer Limits

>Would you go that far if you know your secret won't be kept anyway?
That would fuck the episode, but yeah, if it was me - I don't deal with terrorists. I'm pretty cautious with every decision I take in my life, and that makes me pretty prone to be reckless when reacting to external pressure. There is no gain from following their conditions without a guarantee.

>It's not futuristic so I don't like it

Are you 12?

The Prime Minister is the UK and the pig is the EU

Swap 15 Million Merits and The Entire History of (you)

>it's a technology/social media takes over our lives episode

>posting before you've finished watching

Jesus fucking christ.

>3 > 4 > 6 > 5 > 1 > 2.

Switch 4 and 6 and you're objectively right

No, I would have to bring 6 up 2 positions in order to achieve that.

Next on black mirror: what if phones but too much

>When will the remaining 6 episodes come out, by the way?
So, nobody knows the answer for that?

wtf is wrong with Reddit? I went there to discuss Shut Up and Dance and we have all these fucking cucks sympathizing with the faggot saying it's just a mental illness and he didn't deserve to go through all that.

The dude was already eyeing kids in public as well as jacking it to CP. He deserved all of that.

I think that's the point.

It's not a death sentence, but it pretty much forces you to become a hermit.

For all the shit Sup Forums gets about being pedophilic, Reddit is much moreso.

>And yet he doesn't cover his fucking webcam? or use a live linux usb for looking at child porn I mean really but on the other hand there's stuff that indicates he doesn't know about computers

There are idiots who legit think they can't be tracked for shit like this. Like I got shit on by my co-workers for taping my iPhone camera until one of my female co-workers said she deleted her Snapchat account because a friend of hers got her snaps, camera, and phone hacked into. I remember reading an article where this old man made a private FB account and he just uploaded tons of CP to it and after they quickly arrested him all he could say is "I'm sorry."

So we all know the chronologic timeline of Black Mirror starts with National Anthem and ends in 15 Million Merits, but how do we get from one the other?

It's obvious people are disenchanted with the establishment by the time Waldo is almost elected, partially as a result of seeing the PM fuck a pig on national tv and partially because some fat chink factually killed 400,000 people to save one minister, but how the rest of the episodes fit in? Also the dehumanization and sadism of general public that started targeting actual criminals (White Bear, Shut Up and Dance, White Christmas) has reached fairly innocuous things like being fat by 15 Million Merits

I think it's fun to try to create a timeline for Black Mirror where they are all in one universe, but it doesn't work and shouldn't be taken too seriously.

I watched the first two episodes of season 1 and thought they were both total bores. Does it get better? Please tell me they were the worst episodes of the series.

Yes, some of the best episodes come later

If you by "villain" mean the trolls then there's something wrong with you.
I just felt sorry for the kid through and through, I mean how old was he, 16? Of course it's disgusting but maybe it was just a phase. Would've been less ambiguous if they'd picked a full-fledged adult or something.
Also props to the show (and shame on me) that I just figured it out at the very end when they blatantly stated it, I just thought "wtf how sexually ashamed and repressed can you be kid" the entire time without thinking twice.

Brooker said it was the same universe I think, you can see news aboutthe White Bear trial in like three episodes

Ok good was hoping so.

Watch the next one and if you don't like it stop right there and refer yourself to the nearest Plebetorium to be treated asap

I went there as well, for White Rabbit too, and all I could find was mob justice saying how they deserved everything.

> eyeing kids in public
I don't remember that part, watched the ep during breakfast with friends and we didn't pay too much attention, mind describing what exactly happened?

Oh that's interesting. I wonder how he's gonna pull that off.

I mean I saw all the little easter eggs, but I thought that was all they were

then the pig should fuck the guy

What fucking choice did he have?

>Will this series become unwatchable in 20~30 years?
it already is. it's just a struggle watching them. i didn't even had the urge to watch past s03e01. the stories could be told in 10 minutes, but they stretch them for 45mins. Also twilight zone and Outer limits had better 'what if's, and more episodes.

>#
Kill yourself, OP.

he's like weirdly nice to a little girl at the start of the ep

It was foreshadowed that he had a thing for kids at the beginning of the episode. Going out of his way to return a child's lost toy, as well as eyeing a drawing a kid left on the table.

Did people like the third episode that much. It's not bad but a plot that's already been done by a whole bunch of thriller movies is not something I want from muh Black Mirror.

I'll be honest. San Junipero is probably one of my favorites. It ended aight and got me thinking about how if I ever found a girl desperate enough to marry me how would we spend forever.

I hated Futurama for doing the same shit on their series finale with Fry and Leela's romance, but that reboot was entirely garbage so I don't even care to compare them.
