Beijing is bigger than Switzerland and yet it is extremely well connected with a subway system that provides trains every 2-5 minutes. Switzerland has places where buses pass only once a day and "big cities" only get trains every 15 minutes (yet the Swiss feel that their system is the best in the world). In Beijing, you can have food delivered to your home 24/7. In Switzerland you can't buy shit after 7pm.

The best universities in the world are American. Most of the relevant research is done in America. The best business and tech schools are in America. In fact, out of the top 20 universities in the world, there are only between 2-3 (depending on the ranking system) that aren't American.
