This will be the true capekino
No it's shit and you are shit
WATCH IT BUB
You don't get to make passive aggressive jokes when you are excited for the next capeshit.
who is the little girl?
who's the man with the robotic hand who is threatening him?
ridiculous fucking capeshit for grown man babbies.
Based Huge Jacked Man is going to go out on a high.
X-23
Donald Pierce
Trailer was great, but so far wolvey is 0/2 in the 'good solo movies' department. I dont have high hopes this will be good.
>but rated R!
America's version of an R rating is just more violence. Wolverine is a well known character, especially for younger audiences who unironically love capeshit.
Just look at the redband trailer compared to the original. One fucking shot difference and its a violent scene. The original shot at least maintained the tone of the trailer.
This could be a good movie if they gave Jackman good material to work with, but i believe their plan is to sell this movie on the R rating(even though its just cgi violence with some blood spatter and maybe a 'fuck' thrown in) because of the Deadpool movies success.
Good for hollywood for making more R rated movies, but its going to be more like pg-13+ material.
I think it looks like it might be really good. The snips of action scenes in the trailer didnt look that great though
I don't get the hype for this trailer. Looks like shit.
I hurt myself today
it's aimed at people who already know and like the X-Men and Wolverine. Otherwise it wouldn't just be titled "Logan"
But it sounds great.
does this movie take place between X3 and Days of Future Past?
It looks like a proper, nostalgic sendoff to two of the best casting decisions ever made on film.
No it takes place years after DoFP's ending.
oh wait so it's the far-future of the reboot timeline?
>Johnny Cash Hurt
>Marvel logo
I don't think I've been so fucking triggered so quickly in my entire life
sorry I'm retarded, I forgot about the ending part in the school at the end of DOFP
they obviously only spent 5 minutes making the red band trailer, just by adding in a single clip where he stabs through a guys head. I think they only made it to show HEY GUYS RED BAND THIS MOVIE IS RATED R
As far as the movie being rated R, how the fuck are you even complaining about this? Are you underage? All it does is give them the freedom to be super violent and adult-themed if they want to. Just because they haven't shown off the violence in the trailer doesn't mean it won't be there
>Is Sup Forums hyped for this movie?
I am Sup Forums and the answer is no.
m-me niether
>two of the best casting decisions ever made on film
I unironically agree with that.
I unironically love this trailer and can't stop watching it. Gives me chills both at the end and when his claws come out
>aww this looks great
>hear people saying it looks awesome
>"Might be his first good solo movie."
>W-wait, what?
>find out people didn't like The Wolverine
What the fuck? When did this happen? Or is it popular normie opinion, like Aqua Man being a bad character?
>It looks like a proper, nostalgic sendoff to two of the best casting decisions ever made on film.
He looks like Wolverine but he never got the pure rage right of the character.
>photoshop blur
The girl they cast for X-23 is fucking perfect but it's setting off all my pedo buttons. I'm already falling in love.
Time to punch myself in the dick until I lose my erection.
The script has him saying Fuck.
There will be vulgar language, violence, and mature content.
It'll be GOAT.
His healing factor must be completely broken if it lets him keep scars like this
It is, that's why his knuckles were bleeding from using his claws.
You're literally the first person to actually use their fucking head instead of scrambling into the thread going WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON WHY HE NO HEAL?!?!
logan
t. American
Embrace it bro
apparently, it's because of the legacy virus. same reason xavier's powers are all but gone.
>falling for baitposters
Literally anyone who knows about Wolverine knows why he has the scars.
He's the Wolverine Baby!
WHY HE NO HEAL?!?!
People with shit taste.
They are probably very recent serious injuries. The director said his healing factor is not as good as it used to be, but he can still recover from being really really really hurt. It just leaves scars now and is maybe slower.
I don't think he is aging at that accelerated of a rate. Maybe faster than he used to age, but still way slower than everyone else. He's always aged, just slowly. He was born in the mid or late 1800s, depending on the source.
I am going to guess he was gimped a bit and directed to be more jokey and 'light' for most of the films. The 'cameo' scene he has in Apocalypse is great for portraying his rage.
He can recover from wounds. You can't heal a scar. That's there forever, healing factor or not.
WHY HE NO HEAL??? WHY HE NO HEAL??? NO UNDERSTAND WHY HE NO HEAL?
are we going to see her get violently killed and then regenerate back to life multiple times?
Oh yes, please please.
The Wolverine had some strong points, but the climax was just too cheesy. The evil snek and the giant adamantium samurai robot were just too dumb
>You can't heal a scar.
Wolverine can, that's the fucking point, he can't anymore.
it was just boring tbqh
That was the coolest shit though.
No scars don't heal. His healing factor has slowed to the point where he cant heal instantaneously so his wounds scar over like normal people thus leaving lasting marks.
now that its been pointed out to me, i cant fucking unsee it.
how did this shit get past marketing? that kids fingers are too fucking long.
It looks boring. If it was good, it wouldn't be a March release.
How many years after DoFP (set in 2023) does this take place? Logan is already 178 years old by then, plus he has the 51 years of memories and experiences fighting in the X3 timeline from 1972 to 2023 (but then again I guess he forgot his 51 years of experiences from the new timeline?). Regardless, Logan's seen some shit
how does it look boring?
James Mangold said it's set in 2024.
"X-Men: Days of Future Past" was set in 2023.
Everything went to hell in literally one year.
>How many years after DoFP (set in 2023) does this take place?
It's set in the year 2024.
>Everything went to hell in literally one year.
One day, even.
...
>killed Longshot
LOL, not so lucky now, ya hollow boned faggot.
>all that dead tits and ass
Am I deplorable if the first thing i'd do when finding a bunch of dead hot chicks is grope all their tits and ass?
you can't really go wrong with loli + badass.
so that whole happy-ending at the end of DoFP was ruined?
What the fuck happened?
Meh, they still have the chance to save the timeline, or it could be an alternate timeline.
>so that whole happy-ending at the end of DoFP was ruined?
Sadly, yes
>What the fuck happened?
No one knows yet, but given that Old Man Logan was cited as an inspiration for the film, they may adapt the storyline where Logan murders every X-Men there is.
Xavier saying "Logan, what have you done?" in the trailer is also a clue.
Yes, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't do the same
You'll hurt yourself tommorow.
No, I mean what happened in that picture? Is it from Old Man Logan? Did Wolverine kill all the other x-men in Old Man Logan / in that picture? Why?
Mysterio tricked him into killing them all, Wolverine feels so bad he puts his head on a railroad track and lets a train hit him.
doesn't kill him though, then he fucks off and vows never to pop his claws again
Don't forget that the US gets taken over by super villains (and the Hulk) shortly thereafter.
Seems like a mix of History of Violence and The Last of Us, but with iconic superhero characters. With the right approach, this is the kind of movie that could do a superb job humanizing Wolverine while also viewers incredibly anxious to see him unleash those lethal claws.
Holy shit I didn't know he was even capable of doing that. So Wolverine fought and killed ALL the other x-men by himself in a single fight?
here is a timeline. Logan is set in 2024 of the new timeline
Lol, Charleston is nowhere near where it is on that map, unless they just renamed Charlotte.
San Diego and LA are also messed up.
>Holy shit I didn't know he was even capable of doing that.
For story purposes sure he can do anything, FFS Iceman can't be killed by decapitation HE WAS TURNED TO STEAM ONCE!
it's an alternate dimension in a comic book. Things aren't always going to be quite like they are in the real world. Shit like money could be red instead of green if the writers wanted it to be
>R Rated
>Wolverine doesn't bleed when his claws come out through his knuckles
Fuck off. How could they miss this? If his lack of a healing ability is a big deal in this movie, then he should bleed everytime he schizings those blades.
except he literally is bleeding at the end of the trailer from his claws coming through
He does bleed, just not profusely and in-your-face. That's because it would be distracting and completely unnecessary, since they've already established to the audience that his healing factor is worse since he gets scars and ages faster.
Also he doesn't lack his healing factor in this movie, it is just weaker than it once was. He can still survive something like being run over by a train for example.
>Holy shit I didn't know he was even capable of doing that. So Wolverine fought and killed ALL the other x-men by himself in a single fight?
Yeah because he went berserk and the X-Men were trying to calm him down not murder him.
How the fuck did he kill Colossus is beyond me but hey, Mark Millar!
>How the fuck did he kill Colossus is beyond me
bio-organic steel can't stop adamantium, what you should have asked is how Polaris couldn't stop him, assuming he didn't kill her first.
the only thing this movie hypes me for is rewatching Walk The Line
>Yeah because he went berserk and the X-Men were trying to calm him down not murder him.
>murder him
That's not murder it's self defense. Why wouldn't they just try and kill him to stop him as soon as he'd fucking KILLED a single one of them (let a lone 2 or 3)? That's a pretty massive deal, to kill a member of the x-men. You'd think they'd all go full-force against him to stop him from killing any more as soon as they realized how real the danger was - especially for each one while they were fighting for their lives defending themselves from him.
>bio-organic steel can't stop adamantium
But you see, maybe i'm not an x-men know-it-all but this is the same problem i have with Wolverine stabbing the Hulk...he would need super human strength to exert the necessary strength to puncture the thick Hulk's skin and same with Colossus. I don't know.
Because the story needs to happen.
>e would need super human strength to exert the necessary strength to puncture the thick Hulk's skin
Wolverine does have superhuman strength, he's not tossing cars around but he is by no means a weakling so yes, he does have the strength to do what you say.
Victor is behind everything.
posting capeshit should be a bannable offense
Victor Fries is DC
...
>he does have the strength to do what you say.
Again, maybe i should read more comic books but...The Hulk's skin can't be pierced by nukes, but it can get pierced by a fairly strong mutant with indestructible claws?
Alright.
...
>No Deadpool VS Wolverine movie
Don't give a fuck
...
Victor Creed
...
...
He healing all time from adamantium poisoning
heal is tired
>The Hulk's skin can't be pierced by nukes
A character called X-Ray literally burnt his flesh off with radioactive blasts, and Wolverine in the past has carved out the Hulk's heart and walked off before he could regenerate because he had other things to do.
Even a baseline human with an exosuit managed to stab and slash hulk using adamantium weapons.
The Hulk is tough but he can be injured, not easily, but it can be done.
