>babby first """"""""art"""""""" film

i.e. PRETENTIOUS FUCKING SHITE

Bitch. I bet you haven't even seen, let alone heard of Sexy Beast or Birth.

Pleb.

...

not an argument

those are 2 pleb films and you are a smug pleb for thinking people haven't heard of them

Agreed, excellent film. Glad Glazer gets to make the movies he does, really in his own lane. have a higher res id you'd like

Am I a pleb for not "getting" this movie? I mean, it looks good and what not and has a couple of nice scenes but I dunno it didn't feel it was worth the watch and didn't leave any lingering emotions or thought.

>flicks
more like kinómatography disguised as cíne. Glazer is the next Kubrick.

>Am I a pleb for not "getting" this movie?
not at all. it's purely style over substance convoluted tripe. watch Beyond the Black Rainbow instead. the superior arthouse kino.

Why were they doing what they were doing. I get that they wanted people that wouldn't be missed, but for what purpose. They wanted to take over the planet, is the best way to do that is to find people and put their peoples in their victims skin.

May be it's something you need to see on a big screen to appreciate. I doubt I'd enjoy the Reverent if I watched it on a laptop.

they were harvesting meat. human is a delicacy on their planet.

When was that established

it wasn't. it's explained in the book.

Okay so it explains why they did that in the book. Why did they do it in the movie, was it supposed to be ambiguous?

How ironic that your statement is convoluted. It's a simple tale told beautifully, what's convoluted about it? Take your time.

You just don't get it do ya scott?
