Well as of right now, there are 3 options for Trump.
First one being yes, more sanctions, but this option isn't likely to work on it's own.
Second being strategic strikes on NK's R&D and manufactureing facilities in an attempt to slow, and eventually, sway NK from pursuing nuclear weapons.

Third is a full military campaign on the Korean peninsula. While this option is still a while away from being executed, if it is at all, there's a chance it'll be chosen as a last resort. It's likely at this point the solution to the armamment is option 1 and 2 at the same time. Keep in mind that any combination of these options HAVE to be chosen before they do get nukes.
