What is the best Wes Anderson film?

What is the best Wes Anderson film?

And why is it The Royal Tenenbaums?

>ywn fall in love with your adopted sister

Rushmore was his last good movie

Life Aquatic

>this fag thinks Rushmore is good

Bottle Rocket

I enjoy the films of West Amberson, his films are magnificent.

I'm gay so I've seen all his movies. Life aquatic is the best.

>Rushmore was his last good movie
Ah, the classic Sup Forums contrarian opinion on Wes "I bet you actually enjoy his films" Anderson's body of work.

This is the same caliber reply as saying "Jackie Brown was the Tarantula's only good movie". I don't think you or any of the people who feverishly race to post these pre-packaged replies actually like, or have even watched, either of these movies. It's just a thing you say, you might not even believe it. It's like a platitude, - it's a standard reply you come to expect on Sup Forums.

I think Rushmore is his best and most affecting, but TRT is great too

Darjeeling Limited is unironically my favourite

I think The Darjeeling Limited was criminally underrated. I never see it discussed here.

I thought it was light on plot and characterization, but the charisma of the three leads, the production design, and the cinematography more than make up for it. It's a lot of fun to watch, though the film has a pervading sense of emptiness or coldness that I can't really put my finger on.

i agree. not sure why most people rank it so low compared to his other stuff

I've only seen

Royal tenenbaums
Moonrise kingdom
Grand Budapest hotel
The life aquatic

I thought they were all great but I enjoyed the grand Budapest hotel the most

i wouldn't say it's his only good film or his last good film, cause i didn't like bottle rocket, but Rushmore is my favorite

Fantastic Mr Fox is my favorite, desu senpai.

One of the most cogent replies I've seen on Sup Forums

FMF and MK are my favorites
GBH was pretty good too

i feel the same user, maybe cause i have brothers, but that movie is very underrated in my opinion

i haven't seen moonrise kingdom yet, i just don't like movies about little kids, Is it really THAT good?

same except I also saw Rushmore. GBH is magnificent
It's really good if you can get over the nagging feeling that Wes might be a pedo

Life Aquatic or The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Mr. Fox was completely phoned in.

Agreed. This fuckers work like clockwork.

Official ranking:

Rushmore>Darjeeling>Budapest>Aquatic>Bottle>Fox>Royal>Kingdom

Royal > Darjeeling > Aquatic > Rushmore > Fox > Bottle > PedoKingdom

Aquatic > Darjeeling > Grand > Rushmore > Royal

I bet you enjoy the films of Wes Anderson is a pretty great insult desu

Is this pasta? Because it should be.

Darjeeling > Aquatic > Rushmore > Bottle > Royal > Fox > Kingdom

GBH withheld, haven't seen it yet.

Anyone who ranks Bottle Rocket higher than anything else is a fucking pleb. Stick to watching your popcorn flicks, kids.

how can someone be so wrong?

The Royal Tenenbaums is literally just 2 hours of people yearningly staring at camera. So pretentious and tryhard. Rushmore is Anderson's only truly good film.

how was that cogent? he didn't address the post's substance he mocked the poster's opinion without adding substance.

triple dubs wow

>KINO tier
Tenebaums, Fantastic Mr. Fox

>Film tier
Darjeeling, Moonrise Kingdom

>Movie tier
Rushmore, Life Aquatic

>Flick tier
Bottle Rocket, Grand Budapest

Couldn't agree with you more

Great taste

Sup Forums = wrecked

Moonrise Kingdom. By far, actually.

Wes Anderson never had good movies.

This guy gets it.

Either The Darjeeling Limited or The Life Aquatic

Moonrise Kingdom > Royal Tenenbaums > Life Aquatic > Grand Budapest Hotel > Rushmore > Fantastic Mr. Fox > Darjeeling Limited > Bottle Rocket

>might

>I like your nurse's uniform, guy.
>These are O.R. scrubs.
>Oh, ARE they?

I thought it was The Royal Tenenbaums until I saw this scene in GBH.

I swear it felt close to falling in love for real.

this works

Why are all these indie filmers such utter fags.
