Does Sup Forums collect vinyl? Have you made any cool purchases recently?

fucking soyboys
Just ordered a copy of the Twin Peaks season 3 soundtrack off amazon earlier today
Usually I don't like to order vinyl online but it was half of the average price on discogs so hey
Oh, and it was only 16 bucks which is pretty good for a new double album
>he fell for the vinyl meme
No, but I collect CDs and DVDs.
>tfw live in rural Canada so have to order all my music online
>tfw shipping for a record from the States is at least $15
Denzel Curry sent me a free slipmat because the 13 vinyl was delayed by like a week or something.
I should also have the Hoops Tapes #1-3 vinyl coming this week, which is pretty neat.
Yeah
I recently got the Spoon/Mute reissues of Tago Mago and Future Days
Yesterday I ordered Rock Bottom from a seller on discogs
Last week I got Spirit of Eden with the 24bit audio dvd
Something I've discovered is that $20-30 reissues really aren't as bad as people make them out to be. Unless an album was hugely popular or very niche, you rarely save much money at all (if you don't actually pay more) when you buy used from discogs and pay for shipping compared to buying a new reissue.
Also, unless you're shelling out insane amounts of money for first pressings, modern reissues beat out most older repressings for audio quality. Obviously there are dud labels (4 men with beards) but generally I feel like an idiot for falling for the "no modern reissues" meme for so long when reissues are often great, you can get a mint condition record for $5 more than you would pay for a beat up, slightly warped copy of the same used record on 100gram vinyl from the 70's
Poorfags gonna poor, I guess
I've got a newer reissue of Tago Mago as well, and it sounds fine to me. Doesn't help that older records tend to be super overpriced where I am and the thrift stores never have anything decent.
