judgement day is indeed an excellent flick made even better when I went back and watched it with my girlfriend after watching the first one with her and not telling her anything about the second.

I didn't realize that it doesn't really make clear who the bad guy is until the first shootout in the hallway of the mall

I totally get why people like T2 more than T1, but I prefer the first one because 1) I like monster flicks more than action flicks 2) Kyle Reese from T1 is a godtier character

Alien is a 9/10 comfy atmospheric well shot horror film.

Aliens is a fairly generic action film, the only interesting character was the bad guy. Very predictable and cliched

I seem to be the only person on earth who dislikes aliens, alien is one of my all time favorite movies, but aliens is long, drawn out, it takes an hour before anything happens, it turns the alien into pointless canon fodder as opposed to the dark nightmare monster from the first. Alien has this really bleak atmosphere and the tension is always being cranked up more and more from the point John hurt gets facehuggered. Aliens misses the point of what made the first great. 60% of aliens is people walking around with the motion tracker bleeping, the end fight with the power lifter isn't half as cool as people make it out to be, and the introduction of the colonial marines is the second most damaging thing to happen to the franchise after the predator crossover. After aliens, the franchise and everything in the extended universe just became "space marines shoot aliens, oh no, but they're being picked off one by one, also the predator is there too ."

I like T1 and T2 equally, they both have great qualities to them that makes them special in their own ways.
