It was not unfunny and manages to stop only just short of being ham fisted, but I loved the food version of gore, like literally my favorite gag in the whole movie was the oreo picking up his own back cookie. It was an inspired way to show stuff that was brutal and gruesome hidden behind everyday imagery.

I have this theory that the movie was so bad that they purposefully "leaked" the script so that the movie's only publicity beforehand was that it would be so bad its worth it to see how bad it is.

I wouldn't say I was disappointed because I didn;t have much hope for it anyway but I mostly agree with this. I thought Michael Cera's character and his performance was the best part of the movie. That and the gag where food pops out when someone says their name. Queso?
