wave my big hungarian dick in joy on the shores because that means we have a sea and will get laid by cockhungry norwegian female soldiers
>we are not coming as friends
Kyaa~ does that mean we're lovers?
How will your country react to this?
Mobilize the navy and the marines and use our coastal defence mechanisms to sink an atlantic navy that surely is made to work effectively in baltics and thick archipelagos, whilst mobilizing the reserves and capturing firstly finnmark and then the rest.
Based off what happened after 9/11, we'd invade Sweden
Ours is bigger
It's all going according to plan!
We also have Kraken swimming along with us underneath our vessels.
We'd probably greet heartily, show you the errors of your ways, stealthily integrate you, and then get you to invade England.
Y'know, like last time?
How would you like your margarita, sir?
And no, I can't sell you drugs.
are PoW camps as good as those famous prisons in norway? if so, i'll surrender :3
is that the whole fleet?
*deploys Walrus-class submarines and fires off Mk 48 torpedos*
Nothing personal kid
Take in whatever drug you're delivering
We would make friends
Offering them my wife like the good old day
Man, I forgot about that one.
Their cells look better than any room I could afford to pay around here. Also, healthcare, food and a computer with limited internet access.
What else can I ask for?
That's just their target practice sights.
The Norwegian navy is the largest in the known world.
...
Same way we deal with the yellow people and boats
>How will your country react to this?
Pretty much.
Choke point camping all day every day.
Looks pretty nice actually, wouldn't mind being in Norwegian prison 2bh.
No, but I think it's the whole operating one, at the time when the photo was taken. Minus the coast guard of course.
...
Oh, and they have not included the operating submarines. I guess the answer is just plainly "no".
Now, the argument about "muh reinsertion" flies with me, since I don't have too much of a hard time fathoming why it'd be better on the whole to re-introduce small time offenders who only ended up committing a crime due to unlucky circumstance.
But still, how is this shit meant to disencentivize criminals who were fully aware of their acts? Like say I'd like to kill my son. Maybe the thought of being brutalized in prison, and being crammed into a small cell would make me think twice. But here, if the only downside is spending two or three years in a cushy cell with allsorts of things to entertain myself, how am I to not commit the crime?
Norway has the lowest recidivism rate in the world. Prison is supposed to be rehabilitative, not a deterrent. Society should be a deterrent to crime.
thought we were friends
t. Magnus Carlsen
Cute
I know, I know. You're only feeding back to me what I said I'd already agreed with.
But what of someone who doesn't need the rehabilitation, since he was perfectly aware of the crime he was about to embark on, and would've committed regardless of circumstance?
Someone who was only ever going to commit a crime once, would've ended it there, but wasn't detterred in the first place?
If you're asking me then I think you won't get a satisfying answer, since my competance on this matter is zero. But do you really think that people who commited a crime on purpose do not need rehabilitation and to obtain new perspectives on life and how to live it, how to be a law-abiding citizen? I would assume these people are the people who need rehabilitation the most, not the other way around. Maybe I'm wrong, I dunno.
Give half of your royal jewlry collection to our royal house and we'll turn back.
invite our vassal in
Denmark, let's form a union again. Norway-Denmark.
>But do you really think that people who commited a crime on purpose do not need rehabilitation and to obtain new perspectives on life and how to live it, how to be a law-abiding citizen?
Hmm, well maybe that's also true in a sense. I might phrase this next part not too handsomely, but basically the people I'm thinking of in this case would be perfectly law-abiding citizens in all other fields, but would've just committed the crime because they thought it was "worth" the prison time they'd inccur. Like say, someone who was greedy, and had to share the inheritance of his father with his brother. If he knew he could rack in a million more by not having to share his brother by killing him, then maybe he'd do it. Basically the crowd I'm thinking of is those who'd have a lot to win by killing someone else, and would say "damn" to the consequences.
Not people who are legitimely sick and with an inclination to kill.
Also what worries me is that a lot of the prison system is geared towards rehabilitation, but that wouldn't matter for the crowd I'm specifically addressing, since they would've only pulled off their crime once, have gained what they wanted to gain, and be done with it.
It's not the prison system's job to do that. It is society's
So society should look down enough on those kinds of people, till the shame is such that they wouldn't want to commit any crime?
Oh shit that looks way better than my apartment
Amusement.
Unzip artillery
That's a good question to which I don't have the answer. How are your prisons?
No, society should be good enough that crime becomes rare. Take your example, killing your son. There could be a few reasons someone might do that without fear of getting caught. Maybe you really fucking hate him for being gay. Society should have taught you a measure of tolerance to prevent this.
We will send our finns to kill you.
SHOOT YOU WITH BROOMSTICKS
Eh, I guess a healthy balance between what yours are, and American ones. Sadly, we don't have enough, and a lot of sentences are left unserved.
Apparently, they're also a breeding ground for radicalization, so we haven't got the answer either apparently.
But at least thank you for considering my point. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it's slightly paradoxical in some ways, but oh well, those people I mean are probably 1% of the criminal populatio anyways.
>Society should have taught you a measure of tolerance to prevent this.
I don't know. You'll always end up with assholes without enough empathy for this to hold sway with them. But I guess, yes it's a start.
Don't care, Australia is literally uninvadable
Oops, sorry forgot to reply approprietly. Here's the answer:
The problem is when societies are broken
That's why that prison system works only in Norway
Here our max security prisons the guards are there with the mission of basically lobotomizing the inmates with psychological torture
I'ts hard for a many people to empathize with criminals, specially if you were the victim of a crime.
But well, their way is right at the end.
[laughs in spanish]
Your navy clearly does not even know which way it's going. This is going to be easy!
if the law-folks determine said criminal is not fit to be let free, even if he has served his time, then they can keep him locked up for as long as neccessary. like breivik, i very much doubt they'll ever let him go
ummm sorry sweetie we're full xx
*Navantia remotely turns off your Fridtjof Nansen systems*
Nothin' personnel.... kid
I don't know, I think that you will need another canberra or at least a hobart. Pls buy.
You're dust!
Oh alright. You lot should publicize that more since the Norwegian judicial system is often touted as "ah so nice and human :)" by people who don't know anything about it, even what that back-up exists.
There's no navy on the planet that can match the US fleet for capabilities.
Surrender
I want to be imprisoned in your jail
Fuck yeah
"hello america yes i love mcdonalds too but we're being attacked send help asap thanks"
pls Destroy Indonesia and Malaysia first
i try to tell people whenever our prisons are mentioned, but they see cells that doesn't look like a sewer and so they think its all nice. it's also not like you're totally safe there either, not too long ago a child molester got murdered by other inmates
No,we don't want your codfish.
Wait until december
Good luck. We have some of the most advanced ships in nato, part of the missile shield. And combined defense with Germany and Belgium. Plus there is a British fleet that is part of nato right across the pond.
We will only send one ship toward you lads, it's gonna be easy to show you who's the boss. As we pass your docks with our ship the wave from it will flood your entire country.
excellent post
This is way better than my High School.
Geeh, I guess the country that hasn't been flooded for 60+ years and the largest port of Europe cannot handle the waves of one ship.
These girls are dragging a big battering ram that will be used to ram your docks till it's destroyed. You can not stop us!
Those gates are 20 meters high lol.
Just blow them up I guess
Björn, we torpedoed and sank the Burger fleet.
Your logboats are no competition.
the thumbnail looked like a weed bud.
i think i should stop smoking weed

I don´t say more.
they stand no chance against our fleet
it's not about the size it's how you use it :^)
As for the question, Iceland isn't afraid of some Norwegians on boats. Scoldings are in order

Give us some gold and shining things, and we'll be on our way.
