that's a bad gif. seeing irithyll for the first time is meant to convey total tranquility. there is no wind, the snow is falling down gently and the city itself looks cozy and pristine.
the wind in the gif makes it look like a stormy, harsh kind of place.

ummmm m8 i love souls games but their lore is absolutely all over the place. they cannot get their time line remotely accurate. the chronology is absolutely on crack. the whole feel of the games is really immersive and cool, but lore? i mean. i've even read into it having played all of them since demons souls, but it doesn't make any real sense, like i say because of the warped chronology

enjoy both of these games and the atmospheres they give off
also like the British Empire aesthetic of Dishonored.
