to this day there's no exact number on the production budget. If you are playing with such high figures, for fuck sake don't use papyrus.
But well, for me a lot of the designs looked like cheap versions of mezieres or moebius, using papyrus was just another cheap shot.
Only good stuff that I recall were all the mech design cannibalized from Aliens.
