Gimme some Horrors

Okay guys, I'm sick of the same fucking threads on here and need some decent horror flicks since I don't seem to get scared anymore.

Chopping Mall
Creepshow 2
Sorority House Massacre II
Zombie Lake
Nightmare City
Cellar Dweller
Open House (1987)

What is that, Pet Semetary?

Thanks user, looks like a decent list. I've seen a couple before I think. Are they all gore-fests?

Yup

Yeah, pretty much.

A couple are in jest, but they are all worth watching just for silly entertainment.

Also Sleepaway Camp.

>sometimes, dead is betta

Okay cool, I like a good classic gore fest. Not particularly scary but usually fun.

It feels like so long since I've seen a film that was genuinely creepy and scary. Haunting films are all fucking shit these days and 90% of horrors have the same theme and just rely of shitty jump-scares.

>The person you put up there ain't the person that comes back.

Horror films have become boring. They're all just jumpscares and gore.

>The K-13 rahn? You don't wanna go down that rahn. That rahn has a history.

Check out Jacob's Ladder for grade A top tier horror

I know, they've become cheap and unoriginal recently. The odd gem creeps through but it's hard to find them.

Tim Robbins...will give it a go, thanks.

But that's the most dangerous run in North America!

Thanks man

Some Classics in there. Thanks for the pics

>Turbografx has Snatcher and arcade-perfect Street Fighter
>Neo Geo has Metal Slug and SNK fighting games

Arrrgghh.

...Neo Geo, slightly reluctantly

Have you watched any Japanese horror? If you want creeping dread over gore I'd recommend Ring, Noroi (The Curse) and Kairo (Pulse).

Noroi starts off kind of goofy but the ending makes the film, in my opinion.

Also seconding the Jacob's Ladder recommendation and tossing in Don't Look Now.

Dog Soldiers (2002)
The Borderlands (2013)
Triangle (2009)
The Decent (2005)
Bone Tomahawk (2015)
Wrong Turn (2003)
REC (2007)
Eden Lake (2008)
The Orphange (2007)

Yeah seen a few. I haven't seen Noroi, think I saw Kairo a few years ago.

Seen Dog Soldiers, The Descent, Wrong Turn and REC which were all decent so I'll give those others a go, cheers.

You could try Lake Mungo if you want something creepy and psychological. Don't read anything about it in advance.

Also try another antipodean horror, The Tunnel (2011).
