It's costly to make cheese in tropical climate so they're imported and somewhat expensive. People are not used to eating it and we have enough tasty dishes that don't use cheese anyway. Bread, fruit and cheese for a meal is literally shit tier.

American cheese

>as long as you buy proper ones from their country of production and not a knock-off
They use the same raw materials and same factory methods, so it makes no a single fucking lick of difference.
The only difference you will find is buying directly from local farmers, shit that doesn't appear on store shelves to begin with.

Fucking Europeans and their unjustified culinary arrogance.

Finland

I like gruyere

The name of the cheese is Livada. Its yellow and i like to melt it on bacon strips on butter on bread.
Top if off with oregano or some other pizza spices.
I also like to put lard, salami or any sausage, smoked meat, anything in a greasy lardy pan and dump Livada all over it.
Sometimes i buy the entire cheese package and i cut the cheese into bars.
Then dip the bars into beaten eggs and roll them into toasted bread crumbs for frying.
I eat it with mayonnaise.
Im lucky i do manual labor jobs, otherwise id be an american.
