Why is Spain so hot?

Why is Spain so hot?

How can you live here?

On the hot days Madrileños only go out at night, wich gave them the calling of "gatos" (cats)
Andalucians and Murcians arent human, valencians are semi-human

43ºC right now.

Help. I'm dying.

It really is tough but you'll get used to it in no time, think positively and hydrate

The reason spainards are lazy is because it helps them absorb coolness from the enviroment and cool down themselves.

They're the reason global warming is a thing.

>43ºC

really?
japan is at almost the same latitude as spain, but it's not so hot here

How can you stand this without air conditioning?

Siesta

Why do I have still have belgian flag, while being in Spaña?

You can take the Belgian from Belgica, but you can not take Belgica from the Belgian.

how can people live in southern countries?

a nice long siesta helps

It's 70F right now. I never had such an enjoyable summer. It's sunny, no clouds and feels good.

under 0ºC put central heating on
under 5ºC put coat on
under15ºC put jacket on
over 28ºC wear shorts
over 35ºC put air conditioning on

-10ºC & +40ºC pretend it's not happening

No viven al costado del Sahara..

that's not why we're called gatos, though.
back when Madrid was occupied by the moors in 1000 a.d., there was a christian soldier who was nicknamed gato (cat) who climbed up the wall of the city with his bare hands, tied ropes and led the rest of the soldiers in the fortress, which initiated the conquest of the city. that's were we got it from

>tfw the sun is obscured by smoke
>tfw the light that manages to get through is orange
>tfw couldn't see the hills and mountains yesterday because the smoke was so thick
>tfw BC

>43ºC
