It's a great flick... For you.

Get your own opinion fucking queer.

Did he even get laid?

>my boner when this scene

This ass was made in heaven.

>that rear screen projection
>just so Kubrick didn't have to fly back to America

>dude classism lmao
>dude fidelity lmao
>dude rainbows lmao
>dude secret societies lmao

I got dumps that are bigger than you!

Probably his only masterpiece.

A good and mysteryous movie

I love it, what struck me the most was the thought that he who wrote it must have had a physician father, like me. Looked it up and indeed, I was correct. Kubrick and the author of the original novel did.

>dude reported lmao

I watched that last night and considered screenshotting that as well

One of the best Kubrick. 2001 got outdated pretty fast. Same for Shining. Barry Lyndon was ok if you haven't seen The duellists of Ridley Scott before. Even A clockwork orange lost some of its edge.

How is The Shining outdated?

Kubrick's best movie. Clockwork orange is his worst.

Well i feel that Nicholson's acting tends to be over the top. Especially in the scene with the butler. So after a few times, you tend to find it rather comical than actually eery scary.

has anyone a webm of the butler-guy who tells Cruise to fuck of the next day, at the gate? I might have brain damage, but somehow that scene scared me, like there was something wrong with the way he slowly got closer to the gate? I thought he would be phasing through the gate, like a ghost or something surreal like that.

Is there a non-meme name for this body type? Its my favorite

I used to jerk off to the orgy scene

now I have slipped into the belief that Kubrick left clues in it about the illuminati and thats why he died days before the release.

Really mediocre movie.

Really mediocre post.

I don't remember her wearing clothes. Did they cgi that dress?

In the article about the dead model there's a fashion guy mentioned who happens to have the same name than the guy that's listed on the imdb to have played the man in red at the orgy. Sandor, the hungarian (remember that the song played during the opening cermony during the orgy is a hungarian christmas song played backwards) also talks about having friends in the art game and the models, well are probably assosiated to the fashion industry. Especially the guy in red, considering the dead hooker was and she happened to be a beauty queen.

So basically rich powerful guys have sex parties in big mansions organized by fashion people and artists, who pull favors for sex like giving Alice a career boost for giving up the cunt. Also they probably kill people or at least have henchmen that threaten to kill folks or at least aren't shy of knocking assholes like Nick Nightingale around for saying some shit.

Considering the front page says "LUCKY TO BE ALIVE" it's probably fair to say that the threats were real.

Only question I have how much involvment the custom shop owner has in the whole scheme of things. Like does he know about the orgies? Does he sell his daughter regularly? The japanese guys certainly were surprised about his attitude which changed again after Bill got caught. Considering Victor also knew about the shop owner makes it more suspecious.

I don't consider this a true SK film because he was killed and hence denied the final cut. This is as Kubrick film as A.I. was.

Is this essential cuckcore?

Yes they do, idiot.

I don't consider it a SK film becuae it was 98% exactly like the novel except for the time period it was set in.

The Sinning is a SK film because it's HIS vision (I liked the SK book and tv mini-series too btw). 2001 also.

comfy as fuck plus great music. one of the best of kubrick

This is why they killed him, right?

>Frederic Raphael, who authored the Eyes Wide Shut script for Kubrick recalled that Kubrick once remarked that "Hitler was right about almost everything, and I say this as a self-hating Jew. Israel is a racialist, theocractic, far-right apartheid state, yet its opportunistic and hypocritical supporters preach forced diversity and tolerance in host countries, while they profit off the created conflicts. The international Jew is a cancer and I mean, sure, its attempted systemic extermination might have been a bit of an overreaction, but this doesn't mean there isn't in fact still a Jewish problem, yet anyone daring to bring it up today is devilized and made an outcast, despite all nations having kicked them out at some point across centuries and all the generally agreed upon greatest minds throughout history having expressed Judeo-critical thoughts as well. A lot of them Jewish themselves, by the way, starting with Christ. Even Marx said that the modern commercialized world was the triumph of Judaism, a pseudo-religion whose god is money. Of course, one must not confuse the evil globalist elites with the respectable, common Jew, living a simple daily life, the term "antisemitism" is a fallacy, there is no such thing. These elites, corrupt bankers and media moguls, who got rich through centuries of usury and nepotism, hired me to fake the moon landing and I regret going along with their charade, I wanna atone for my sins, clear my conscience, that's what Eyes Wide Shut is about. Exposing them! The light will be restored once more." Fellow successful Jewish-born filmmaker Sam Raimi was visiting Kubrick on set that day to discuss camera techniques and was observed nodding in agreement and laughing repeatedly at those remarks. Kubrick's bizarre relationship to his own ethnicity deeply troubled Raphael, a fellow Jew. Raphael was further puzzled over Kubrick's cryptic praise for Hitler, unable to decide if Kubrick was jesting.

bump

> Hey guys I'm telling on you

Wow

Yes, prepubescent male

Friendly reminder that most of Kubrick films takes place in the same universe: Kubrickverse.

Part of the Kubrickverse
2001: A Space Odyssey
A Clockwork Orange
The Shining
Full Metal Jacket
Eyes Wide Shut

And maybe:
Dr Strangelove.

>this fucking pleb!

How is 2001: A Space Odyssey outdated?

I wonder if Nicole still has those panties

Why are you reading Raimi's biography of Kubrick?

There are a lot of references in Eyes Wide Shut to his earlier movies.

Such as?

The mask of Tom Cruise is actually the face of the actor who played Barry Lyndon. Same as the capes are references to it.

The mansion itself is kinda like the mansion the french military court was held in Paths of Glory.

You could argue that Nicole Kidman had telepathic abilities, as in The Shining.

This is the most ridiculous theory i've heard about the film.

You can't refute it though.

You are the most ridiculous pleb i ever met on Sup Forums.

Yes, that is correct.

The CIA wanted his neck for telling the world he faked the moon landing

>dude trivializing film's themes lmao

My favorite by Kubrick, and one of his best, too.

Its sad that we will never see the film he intended to do.

>2001
>outdated
It holds quite well, and better than most.

Indeed, user.

It's a pretty bad film except from the ball scene which is masterful, perfect.
Cruise and Kidman ruin the fucking film. I hate them so much.

Is this an X Files reference?

This x23

I didn't get it.

Honestly thought that girl was the hottest girl in the whole movie. I'd let her give me a blowjob.

She also has nice feet.

Everything shot in the Rothchild mansion is fucking amazing. The rest of the movie is meh, though Cruise killed it.

>the rest is meh
Why?

87 posts and no one mentions that Sydney Pollack acts circles around Tom Cruise in every scene he steals. By far the hardest acting task in the film, which is to thoroughly and completely sell the audience (which is all Cruise is, a surrogate audience, for practically the entire picture) the tale that the girl really died of an overdose, and was not murdered. Man versus boy acting match-up. Also evidence of how great Kubrick was at getting performances when he needed to.

Cinematography is far worse, Nichole Kidman acts and is written horribly and the story structure is really off -Tom just stumbles into sexual situations like he's in a teenager's dream.

It's not bad, there's a real sense of menace and it's full of dark as fuck easter eggs, but it doesn't compare to the brilliance of those mansion scenes. Maybe that was a way to hammer home the 'fake world/real word' stuff but I was dissapointed.

Barry Lyndon is way better than The Duellists, because the people in it don't behave like complete assholes who fuck their lives up over nothing.

Barry actually wants to survive and not throw his life away for retarded reasons.

Eyes Wide Shut was released on July 16, 1999 as per Kubrick instruction (written in contract).

You know what famouse event also happend on the same day?
