Should i watch this?

...

It'd alright. Not too bad, but not too great either. Worth a watch, maybe worth a rewatch. It's essentially discount No Country.

Sure. Nothing mindblowing, but it's a solid 7.5/10, which is better than most of the shit that came out this year

you like stories with themes of brotherhood/family as well as solid small town crime drama?

then sure.

>98% on rotten tomatoes

It isn't kino but it's a good story to watch.

what's this supposed to mean?

That it's shit. Sup Forums only likes low rated RT movies like Batman vs Superman.

LET THE WORLD CALL ME A FOOOL!

CUZ U ASKED ME 2 LIL BROTHER

i loved it, would recommend

Matthew McConaughey spoiled the movie for me in an interview.

>"only assholes drink pibb"
D R O P P E D

muh banks

who /comanche/ here?

it's a solid 6

i really don't get why is it so overrated? it's a good movie, but it's not THAT great as most of the internet makes it out to be

Steal their land, steal their clothing, then steal their fucking tribal name.

The movie's chock full of stealing.

He's right. In Texas we drink Dr. Pepper, you faggot.

I fucking loved it. Go for it, OP.

>literally work next door to a Dr Pepper/Big Red distribution center
Texas as fuck.

It's a good modern western, watch it

>It's essentially discount No Country.
they are nothing alike

its a solid 5/10
and 5 is a good number.
only insecure movie critics think 5 is a bad number.
its a good movie

Worth a watch. A solid 4/10

>americans identify with junkfood made in their area

...

Did you love or like Heat, Drive, and No Country for Old Men?

Then you'll probably love or like HoHW

It's not nearly as good as No Country but you should watch it if you enjoy that sort of genre. A solid 3/10.

Fucking retards comparing this No Country For Old Men because muh cowboy hats.

I'm sorry you're too autistic to separate themes and settings.

Anyway, I thought the movie was ok for the shootout at the end. 2/10.

>I'm sorry you're too autistic to separate themes and settings.
This is supposed to be directed at the people who think they are the same kind of movie, right?
The setting is the only barely similar thing to No Country you fucking idiot.

that im gonna watch it because of the high rotten score. how retarde are you that you cant understand

I still don't get how that image represents that but whatever.

Definitely one of the best movies to come out last year. 4/10 solid, 3/10 for the genre.

im going to press the play button and watch the movie you slow man

No. You already know the ending and all the plot points.

I wish that I was as tall and attractive as Chris Pine

oh I thought it was some attempt at sarcasm.

Yuropoors have a hard time conceptualizing how big the US is. Our country is bigger than your continent, and Texas itself is nearly as big as all western europe.
Regional identification is as important for us as our national identity.

Fucking K I N O
This film actually made me feel
"You ever had a family?"

Only downside was the sound design.

>literally being proud of junkfood

>Only downside was the sound design.
What's the problem?

Based Ben Foster was the best part.

yes, very good movie

only weakness was no positive female characters

Hes in the main in the upcoming Galveston alongside Elle Fanning. (Written by Nic Pizzolatto)

Was he speeding?

no, so mediocre it hurts

It's a great movie with actually realistic gun violence which makes it way more exciting.

>Ontario is over 1m sq. km, Texas is 700k sq. km

Tiny, Texas-sized dicklet detected

>A noirish crime thriller, Galveston centers on New Orleans hitman Roy Cady, diagnosed with lung cancer at 40. Before the cancer can do him in, however, he has more pressing concerns in the form of his mobster boss, who has decided to remove him from the business - and the world - via a set-up. Turning the tables, he goes on the run having rescued teenage hooker Raquel "Rocky" Arceneaux. He's persuaded to pick up her baby sister Tiffany, and with his new wards in tow, heads to his titular hometown to scheme revenge and redemption.

That sounds pretty fucking cool.

A lot of the audio is just poorly designed. Go listen to the first like 5 minutes of the movie.
The first shot of the camaro pulling up the engine noise
As they speed off the voices sound so out of place and just forcible put over scene. Minor details and sound effects, but it immediately stood out to me from the start.

I guess I need an excuse to rewatch it. Sound design is rarely something I even notice in movies unless its something exceptional. Probably because my home theater is kind of dogshit.

I thought they handled the gun sounds pretty well.
When that old guy pulled out his handgun and started blasting away it was nice and loud, and the hunting rifle the older brother uses has an authentic flat crack sound.

But Ontario is filled with Canadians

>Ontario
>relevant to anything, anywhere, in any time space continuum, ever.
Leafs look best hanging from trees.
