What does /who/ think of Eccleston's last story (not just the last of his era, but his last story, since he will never EVER return to Doctor Who in any capacity)? Is it still the best season finale?
The Tenth Doctor's hand regeneration is referred as the Meta-Crisis Doctor?
Charles Powell
I support a transgender companion.
Gabriel Taylor
It's still the best. The end is a bit silly but Rose becoming Jesus is sadly perhaps the most subtle resolution so far to a finale.
Anthony Martin
I invented Doctor Who
Kevin Baker
apologise
Levi Watson
>Rose becoming Jesus Yeah my favorite part of the Bible is when Jesus disintegrated all the Romans.
Dominic Bennett
Why can't he come back if he wanted to? Didn't the Curator say that he will one-day master regeneration and go back to a familiar face? What if The Doctor decides to go back to Nine for an incarnation? What would you do if the new showrunner brings back Matt Smith as the 13th Doctor?
Mason Rogers
I wouldn't say its close to being the best season finale. The Rose stuff was ridiculous.
Elijah Morris
You're so smart thanks for clearing that right up
Kayden Hernandez
Use when necessary. Which isn't too often, thankfully.
Lucas Collins
Get stuffed.
Adrian Clark
No, that's TPO/TBB.
Jeremiah Long
Fuck me, Hugh Laurie aged like shit. And here I was thinking he'd be the perfect Doctor back in 2013 when we learned Matt was leaving.
Jacob Myers
This is one of the worst episodes of this shit new version of the show I loved as a child.
Ecclescunt was totally miscast in the role and played second fiddle to his bucktoothed Chav companion.
Couple that with Big Brother, Weakest Link and Trinny and Susanna references - with John Barrowman getting his cock out for the show runner - then you've really got a steaming shitshow.
The ending to this was godawful as well - The universe being saved by Chav's slag mother using a lorry to vandalise the Tardis.
Good fucking god.
Asher Nguyen
That's popular Doctor Who for you. Thank God based Moffat set the record straight.
Jose Campbell

>Finally finished with the Pertwee era
For all the complaining I've made over him, it was bittersweet to see him go. The problem I had with Doctor #3 was always that he was too bossy and infallible, generally always right, and just in the stories to tell other people off or occasionally throw people on the ground. That did get better once Sarah Jane Smith joined, as she at least had a personality of her own I think most Doctors would struggle to make anything watchable with Jo Grant, though for some reason I'd like to see 12 have to deal with her.
Aaron Wood
Listening to the BF podcast, Time War stories starring Nyssa and Susan? Huh. And they finally got Owen back.
Kevin Cox
How accurate is this?
Jaxson Clark
Not even vaguely. The assblasted user who wrote that just doesn't like Sherlock Holmes, or the detective genre, and decided that also means he shouldn't try to understand it, and just shitpost about it instead.
Dominic Anderson
>t. sub-100 IQ
Samuel Anderson
Are you okay, user? Show me on the doll where Moffat touched you.
Bentley Cruz
>implying I watch tumblr-tier shows
Elijah Kelly
/d/ is that way, my good sir.
William Ramirez
>implying I'm not a cultured /u/rangutan
William Torres
Did you like Liz Shaw?
Juan Edwards
What did he mean by this?
Zachary Sanchez
Why do I wish I was her, /who/, when I am a straight biological male currently seeing a Doctor for gender issues?
Owen Rivera
>implying I watch anything You tried.
Jaxson Peterson
Since when was she a companion?
Justin Scott
Since early Pertwee
Connor Hernandez
Booo. That's not even her name.
Lincoln Richardson
Good taste.
Henry Brooks
Tenth Doctor defeats evil Justin Bieber. 10 stories are as always are overly 2000s pop-culture fest.
Why is this Christmas set is so RTD era. 12 meeting paranoia man from "Rose" episode as kid, 2 versus farting aliens, 3 meets Jackie Tyler etc.
Oliver Brooks
How is that Justin Beiber? It's clearly a woman. >hehe exactly No, but she has tits and eye shadow.
Brayden Gray
That's not, that's the victim. The Wire (the HUUUNGRY) took form of evil Justin Bieber to eat teenage girl. It was very cheesy.
Jackson Scott
Pic?
Andrew Barnes
Not the part earlier on where Moses beat up an Egyptian with a baseball bat? What kind of normie are you!?
Adrian Stewart
It's a book, not a comic
Eli Roberts
What is the best episode of doctor who guys i need to know
Cameron King
Heaven Sent
Dylan Ramirez
Heaven sent, without a doubt
Matthew Mitchell
We're obviously never gonna get to the point of the Doctor reusing faces.
Alexander Nelson
What happens if Chris Chibnall decides to bring back Matt Smith in an attempt to draw back viewers?
Kayden King
What are some good Doctor Who stories that focus on the era before the Big Bang or the End of the Universe era?
David Ortiz
The Shakespeare Code The Unicorn and the Wasp The Planet of the Dead The Lodger Closing Time The Caretaker
Jayden Ortiz
I don't think there are any that go as far back as the Big Bang. For the end of the universe we have Listen, Utopia and Hell Bent.
Is it mostly NuWho that dealt with these settings? I'm open to Classic Who too.
Christopher Edwards
Well I don't think it's said to be near the end of the universe, but Frontios has the Doctor going farther into the future than he's supposed to go and meeting some of the last humans in the universe.
Nicholas Mitchell
This was a Fifth Doctor story, right? Is there anything i should know about this Doctor?
>Is there anything i should know about this Doctor? Not really, I guess. But it is relevant that Turlough, the male companion, is an alien.
Levi Hall
Oh snap, I haven't seen an alien companion in this series yet. What is the personality of this Doctor though?
Tyler Taylor
He acts very upper class and gentlemanly and can be surprisingly philosophical. Instead of longing for excitement he's happy to relax and take it easy, although he inevitably gets caught up in conflict anyway. Most of his companions can be a bit of a pain in the ass but he usually keeps his cool and plays a very paternal role. He's also less OP than some other Doctors if you know what I mean. He's not as instantly knowledgeable about everything he encounters, can't take command of a situation as easily and he takes some real emotional hits in his era, which wasn't a common thing in most of Classic Who, but his fallibility is contrasted with a strong sense of idealism. He's definitely one of the most human Doctors. He's also one of my favorite Classic Doctors along with 1 and 7.
Colton Hill
Not him, but why did that one user joke that the Sixth Doctor would take on a transgender companion? Did one of Fifth's companions leave because of the change or something?
Parker Baker
IIRC it was a reference to Peri, who wasn't very satisfied with the regeneration from 5 to 6. But that was mainly because 6 was an asshole.
I could have told Steven Moffat I preferred RTD in my uni union's toilet but he was gone by the time I got there.
Isaac Ortiz
Immigrant will be thrilled.
Bentley White
Are these niggas serious
Sebastian Carter
>uni
Joseph Jackson
Cos it's a camp book for fake fans.
Aaron Kelly
Was it Six who also attacked his companion upon regeneration?
Justin Harris
Yup, strangled her
Caleb Moore
So why would it be Six that anons grouped a transgender person with as his companion when somebody like that probably doesn't want to be belittled? If he were an asshole then surely this was commonplace.
Brody Brown
I just started watching clips of Colin Baker on YouTube because I wanted to see the stranger scene and is he usually this much of a pompous dick? He seems more like an asshole and less empathetic than Christopher Eccleston was.
>What is the personality of this Doctor though? he has a pleasant, open face.
Hudson Diaz
>Sherlock now has a sister
Seriously Moffat? Why couldn't it just be Moriarty in drag?
Ayden Watson
What are some good Sixth Doctor stories?
Christopher Martinez
>Anticipates the day of an official Shit Trip
Easton Brown
If Time Lords can regenerate into anything besides a humanoid then could this mean they regenerate as a Dalek?
Jason Cox
Probably, but what's the point in being a tiny squid?
Easton Richardson
Regeneration crisis?
Easton Cox
Resurrection and Varos
Connor Mitchell
The Twelfth Doctor regenerates into a Dalek and now has to find a way to fix himself with another regeneration even though he has no idea how the fuck regeneration works. So how has regeneration been fucked up by NuWho?
There was one who ceased being The Doctor when he committed double genocide. There was a Meta-Crisis Doctor when Ten wanted to keep his gorgeous face and then this would mean he regenerates into something entirely useless.
Carson Stewart
series 10 will be RTD but good
Owen King
His best stories are Big Finish, particularly Jubilee, on which the series 1 episode Dalek is loosely based. As far as television, none of his stories are that great. 6 is pretty much the Official Worst Doctor with the Official Worst Era. Vengeance on Varos, The Two Doctors, and The Mysterious Planet are alright though.
Robert Bell
moriaty died m8
Jace Martin
>The Two Doctors >alright
pick one
Dominic Lee
So he was the one that more or less led to the show's cancellation? What did this mean for McCoy and was his last story really lesbian furry porn?
Christopher Cooper
...
Adrian Sullivan
> lesbian furry porn I think you mean Twelve and Eleventh who had Jenna and Madam Vastra.
Parker Barnes
From the official BBC synopsis (check SKY planner)
>"Sherlock's greatest foe is back from the dead. Now Sherlock and John Watson face their ultimate challenge"
John Stewart
They're talking about Sherlock's fit sister
Jaxson Gonzalez
>So he was the one that more or less led to the show's cancellation? Kind of. The decline in ratings and cultural status was a slow one, but he certainly didn't reverse it. The show's popularity had peaked almost ten years earlier and the story that convinced BBC chairman Michael Grade that Doctor Who sucked was supposedly Warriors of the Deep, a 5th Doctor story, but I think the decisions surrounding the Sixth Doctor and the way he was introduced were what really fucked the show. It's weird to think of The Twin Dilemma as the beginning of the end given that the show ran for five more seasons, but I guess that's just a sign of how ingrained Doctor Who was in the culture that it was so hard to kill. Not that any of it was Colin Baker's fault. He might not be one of the best actors to play the Doctor but Big Finish proves he can do just fine with good writing.
>What did this mean for McCoy Everyone gave up on Doctor Who and no one watched his era and saw the renaissance that was seasons 25-26, so it was cancelled despite being GOAT.
>was his last story really lesbian furry porn? Kind of.
That's scalie, not furry.
Angel Taylor
So what about the filming from the beach of Andrew Scott? Same with the fake set reports from series 3 with him shaking Mycroft's hand?
Owen Stewart
Yeah
Brody Barnes
What did we think of the Christmas special?
Adrian Green
GOAT O A T
Nicholas Wood
What did Mycroft mean then when he said "HE's secure" when discussing Sherinford? I think Sherinford is the name of the prison holding Moriarty
