I remember learning words on my own before I was old enough to go to school, after that it was obviously English classes. My mum got me a computer when I was 8, and I started playing lots of video games then, so I picked up a lot from that, especially from games like Morrowind and Gothic series. When I was 14 or 15 I started reading books in English, so that solidified my grasp of the language.

It just came naturally... All movies and video games are in English, so you just end up learning it. When I was really young and came across an English word I didn't understand, I'd ask my parents... and when I got older I started looking up the translations online instead.
