What movies would you add to this list

What movies would you add to this list

kek

Is this just a list of movies that some people on reddit likes?

It's a genre, reddit horror

Again, actual redditor
Possession by Andrzej Zulawski for the same reasons as Jacob's Ladder and also Dead Alive

I don't get it. Horror is a shit genre and those are among the only watchable films.

once again, reddit has good taste

the ring, insidious, sinister

those are kinos

Seconding Possession.

Silence of the Lambs and The Exorcist.

horror is a pleb genre anyway so it doesn't matter

Fuck off

>1274905364323.jpg
>V/H/S, Babadook, etc

Stop triggering my autism.

The Exorcist is already there.

It's the latest joke on this here board

What exactly is wrong with The Thing?

for something to be reddit it just needs to be shallow but pretending to have depth or substance
think of a black and white shot of rain through a window

Reddit likes it.

Also The Fly needs to be put on for maximum anal wreckage.

It's one faggot trying to force a meme. He makes this thread several times a day.

Heyo reddit

i also hate reddit ha ha

>Enjoying film/television/anything ever

fuck off to reddit, plebs.

>every horror film that's discussed here regularly in a positive way is on this pathetic list

shit taste

what horror movies do you like then? odnoxious prick

no, it's not because "reddit likes it". The contrarian """argument""" is just as stupid as op posting a picture saying this is reddit. If you don't want to discuss because it's a "meme thread", don't say anything. No need to show everyone how insecure you are about your taste

Nothing. I also really like it. I still agree with most of the movies listed

Dario Argento, Deep Red or Suspiria.

>insecurity

konnichiwa reddit

yes, you don't want to discuss or argue, just leave a passive agressive comment about contrarians, trying to justify your taste. Don't worry, it is bait picture looking for replies, and regardless it shouldn't matter. Your own opinion is the only thing that matters

Drag Me to Hell is about as reddit as they come.

Why would someone leave a well thought out introspective comment in this thread? You really think that bait picture deserves any real discussion? Fresh off the boat are you?

Sup Forums: autists
reddit: normie autists

To me, this strikes at the essence of the divide.

Sleepy Hollow was great
That's all

>rëdditor defense force has arrived

your replies are exactly what they are looking for. you keep eating the bait and prolonging the meme

Jeepers Creepers

Reddit horror is wannabe-deep "subtle horror" garbage (often found footage style) like what's on the chart. Some more examples would be The Borderlands or Absentia. True horrorkino is a straightforward, honest monster flick without descending into le ebin quirkyness like with Evil Dead.

>none of my fav horror is on the list

wew

Complaining about jump scares is as much as normie tell as "I liked the cinematography". It's just some generic shit normies say when they want to come across as knowledgeable about film but in reality don't know shit.

Jump scares aren't inherently bad, and many of the best horror movies ever made utilize them to great effect. The issue is when they become a crutch and are easy to predict.

This

this is exactly why The Fly does not belong on that list

Alien has a cat so it's automatically reddit.

Fuck off OP. He's probably the best critic there is right now

Why you got bring the giallo into it?

Tell that to Zodd's snapped neck.

Because I want every single horror to be on that chart

>When The Blair Witch Project came out....
>4881 points
its not even about the movie, its just a blog post, what the fuck is wrong with those people

It Follows is a genuinely great movie with a traditionalist message of sex and sexuality, and that does a great job of merging 80s Nightmare on Elm Street esque horror with modern arthouse horror. I don't know or care if reddit likes it, it's a great movie.

>favorite horror movie ever is still considered non-reddit kino by Sup Forums

feels good, especially considering that the shining, it follows, rosemary's baby, the babadook, and the exorcist are now too pleb

Disregarding this list, is Rosemary's Baby any good?

Vampyr? like by Dreyer?

who the fuck on reddit has even heard of this movie?

Yeah, all three apartment trilogy are solid
Repulsion feels a little younger, more daring
Rosemary's Baby is psychologically draining
The Tenant is comedically psychologically draining
