DUDE TECHNOLOGY IS BAD LMAO

DUDE TECHNOLOGY IS BAD LMAO

dropped it at the pigfucking shit desu

didn't need to see anymore of that shitfest

t. David Cameron.

DUDE I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE SHOW LMAO

DAE PEOPLE WHO USE PHONES ARE LE REAL ZOMBIES???
I WAS BORN TOO LATE LMAO

DUDE INDUSTRIALIZATION AND REGRESSIVE LIBERAL POLITICS LMAO

DUDE CYNICAL TWILIGHT ZONE LMAO!

DUDE DREAMS AND THOUGHTS LMAO

step aside, GOAT episode coming through

It's a modern and clver take on the Twilight Zone. What's not to like?

Would you pass over bros? Live forever in a computer simulation?

Don't think I would, think I'd rather just die. Then again death is scary, maybe I'd pussy out.

It's so preachy it's hard to watch

The Waldo Moment and Pigfucker are great episodes though

Is S3 good? Thank fuck for the S2 final, S2 sucked dcik

>clever
>this is what 1st year philosophy majors actually believe

>so preachy it's hard to watch
>waldo was great though

literally one of the most preachy episodes there user.

Anyhow I would say the messages the present through the show are mostly good so I don't really care if they lay it on thick sometimes. Nosedive for example was really heavy handed but I didn't care because it was also good and right in it's message.

clver = / = clever

I'd probably give it a shot, but my mind would probably go insane if I was trapped somewhere doing the same few things every day for years

I just watched the whole series recently and started with season 3. Some of my favorite episodes were in season 3 and imo it had the the highest production value.

It also had some very weak episodes though like men against fire and allot of people disliked hated in the nation because "robot bees lmao!" but I thought it was good since it's not really about robot bees but instead about how people are assholes.

Make sure to check out White Christmas. Best one of the whole show.

>S3
episodes 2 & 4 are great, 6 is a fun watch, 5 is some cool military scifi if you don't mind the cringey as fuck 'twist' (not spoiling anything, it becomes painfully apparent like 1/4 into the episode)

Honestly ep2 sort of fucked me up just because of how hard it deviated from the usual 'technology ruined society!' themes in the rest of the series

Dude I haven't read The Technological Society limbo

Well it doesn't seem like you have to do exactly the same thing but yea I'm sure it gets old, in fact that's what the quagmire was; people who'd been there a long time and now were "doing anything to feel something" .

Would you?

>mfw he's able to see his "child" for the first time

wew lad

I'd like to think I'd choose to simply die, but I'd probably give a different answer when I'm older

I would want what's right and to die, but fear would probably prevent me from wanting to die.

Why not?

From what I gathered you could basically do whatever you wanted with no repercussions

I'm not saying it's fucking ingenious or anything, but I find a lot of the episodes clever in their dark wit, novelty and to an extent, believability. White Bear is my favourite episode.

I'm a 28 year old surveyor by the way, couldn't get much further from "1st year philosophy student".

Wasn't the program only a few years old? Just imagine those quagmire people a decade or two from then.

I know you can "unplug" anytime you want, but the point of the program is probably to help people overcome their fear of death and realize there's no point in doing the same thing for eternity

>it wasn't half black

The episode pissed me off because of how shitty the woman was. She blocked him because she cheated on him and then hid from him.

A "sorry" and owning up to your mistakes would've saved everybody a lot of trouble, but then again she's a woman

Yeah Waldo was preachy but something about it felt like they gave it a few extra layers of thought beyond the usual evil technology/media message

Nosedive on the other hand...
Holy fuck it was painful to finish that episode. I get it, Twittlrbook and Snaptagram are ruining humanity.

He's a fucking pleb mate. San Junipero is a great episode. At first I thought they pussied out with the gay wedding and all the regular politically correct tropes, but the contrast between them driving off into the sunset with images of their containers being put into their computer eternity was showed that it wasn't a bland endorsement of eternal life in techno heaven.

the fact that they included the laggoon (or whatever it was called) where these hedonists went to experience the only thing pleasurable was quite telling what awaits those who decide to live forever.

White Christmas was the one where the guy and gal get preggers but she completely shuts him out of her life and he obsesses for years only to find out the stupid slut cheated on him and he ends up murdering her dad?

Liked 1 Million Credits. That male lead is the male lead in GET OUT.

Nosedive hit me the hardest out of all the episodes because it's the only one that could happen RIGHT NOW with current technology, while the others are warnings of possible technocratic futures

If facebook wanted to they could implement a "rate system" overnight, then on their app just display the people around you and their ratings

Yeah the little girl dies too

God damn I hate the black bitch's stupid monkey face in that picture.

why would you care. Your current consciousness doesnt go into San Junipero, only a copy

pedestrian trash. Brooker is a smug twat with a fat head. San Junipero is lame Americanised garbage.

>when Hamm is released but blocked by everyone
>when you see that Hamm is a red static

damn...

Yeah, my political professor showed it in class.

>mfw other students were on their phones

Lmao at this pedestrian who things he's a patricifate

>technology is bad

The show runners have openly stated that they're not luddites. They think technology is crucial to our future, its just that there are some issues we need to iron out

Aye, I was struggling with San Junipero at first to be honest, but then once you gradually realise what's going on it becomes really engrossing then emotional. By the end I was actually struggling to hold back the tears much to my girlfriend's amusement (she's always accusing me of being aspie I'm so generally unemotional!).

I couldn't help but want Abi Khan to sit her sweaty ass on my face after she was done on the bike

>The Entire History Of You

fug

So do you just kill yourself when you get blocked by everyone? You can't make a living, or have any relationships. Its literally a fate worse than death

>but then once you gradually realise what's going on it becomes really engrossing then emotional. By the end I was actually struggling to hold back the tears much to my girlfriend's amusement (she's always accusing me of being aspie I'm so generally unemotional!).

What? Why though?

I figure he'd become Ted Kaczynski, and go live innawoods.

I wonder if he could listen to music or if that's blocked too.

>go home, want to fap to let off stress
>realize that the block applies to videos

I'd hang myself right then and there

I just found it really beautiful. Perhaps I was just in a sentimental mood at the time.

What if they are dead though? Would it still apply?

I guess it's /vintage/ on /gif/ then. Could get the same amount of interaction I get now on Sup Forums.

Alright anons lets settle this, r8 the episodes

>Shut Up and Dance - pretty much perfect
>White Christmas - same
>The Entire History of You - same
>Fifteen Million Merits - a little odd but really good imo, dat scene where he tries not to watch her wraith babes ad tho
>San Junipero - was really confused at the start and liked what it ended up being
>Nosedive - really well acted imo and a good cautionary tale about the toxicity of social media
>White Bear - similar message to shut up and dance but not as good execution
>Hated in The Nation - not the best episode but really not the worst, bee memes aside the message was good and I also really like the music in this one
>Playtest - very fun episode, probably the most visually exciting, but really contains no message other than talk to your mom I guess?
>Be Right Back - good episode but I hated the ending
>The Waldo Moment - good message but not very exciting
>The National Anthem - same
>Men Against Fire - worst of the whole series imo, super super predictable from the very start

>that episode where Pedofags got BTFO

Why? Because of the two lesbians getting married and their decision to live together for eternity?

lesbians are cute

Started this show at a slow pace a few ago and next episode is White Christmas.

The Entire History of You and Be Right Back have been the best so far.

Also enjoyed Fifteen Million Merits more than Waldo. White Bear's final act was good too.

I liked that they basically redid the opening scene of Inglourious Basterds in Men Against Fire.

>mfw I've seen real lesbos and I know that they are only hot in my Jew porn

Nice try kikes, but I ain't fallen for it.

I just hated how she made this big stand about her beliefs and it was a huge turning point but she pussied out. It had nothing to do with the gays or the techno heaven.

>user misses the point of the episode

you were supposed to sympathize with Kenny user...

It's like white bear, yes they did bad things but no one deserves what happened to them.

White Christmas is my absolute favorite

t. pedofag

Pedofags deserve worse.

>sympathize with pedos, adulterers, and other criminals who thought they were bulletproof

Also if they weren't ashamed of their sins, they wouldn't care about the trolls and do their bidding

Yeah, shame

What episode was the pedofag episode, I must have wiped it from my memory or something.

I liked hated in the nation because of her

Shut up and dance

>People get caught doing illegal shit
>Get blackmailed into doing stupid shit
>At the end everybody gets a trollface sent to them via text

Shut Up And Dance. One of the worst episodes, but pedos like to think it's amazing.

Oh yeah, I remember that one.

Wasn't that paki a pedo, or was the kid himself jacking it to kiddie?

It's implied the "kid" and the man he fought to the death were both pedos. They don't go into detail what the other people being blackmailed did though

They were both pedos.
It's obvious the kid is a pedo from like a minute in when he stares at the little girl's ass.

The kid jerked off to pizza.

The other guy was married and called a hooker to fuck

The CEO lady made some racist tirade that would hurt her public image

Can't remember the black bike guy

Fighter guy was probably a pedo since IIRC he was the one who guessed what the kid did

It depends, would it really even be me in the simulation, or just a perfect copy of my brain? If the former, yeah, I'd love to live forever even if it has to be in a simulation. If the latter, no, it wouldn't even matter because I'd still be dead and some copied version of me would be living forever so it does me no good.

>Can't remember the black bike guy

dindu nuffin

ayyy lmao I remember, can teens still go to jail for pedo porn?

Would it be pedo porn if I had a pic I took of my own dick when I was a kid? Would I still go to jail?

Did the woman in white bear deserve what she got to? She helped burn a kid alive I'd say that's worse than Kenny considering we don't know the exact content of these pictures.

>Can't remember the black bike guy

It's never stated what he did, he just comes and goes.

1) He wasn't a teen. He was an adult
2) Yes it's illegal. Even if you're underaged and your gf is underaged, if she sends you a nude both of you CAN be arrested and prosecuted for childporn

The show a collage of reactions at the end after the hackers end up releasing the info for everyone with a brief description of what they did.

Kenny also killed someone and robbed a bank, on top of pizza

>he was an adult
>can't drive
>lives at home

Pretty sure he was supposed to be a teenager. Maybe he was like early 20's though I guess.

Actually, yes. The law considers all child nudity illegal, even your own. There is actually a precedent of underage kids going to jail for sharing or having pictures of their own naked bodies, it's considered CP regardless.

>He was an adult

Wut? pretty sure he was like 14

>he was an adult
>can't drive
>lives at home

Nigga do you know where you are? Like 40% of Sup Forums falls under those categories (With a good portion of that also looking at pizza)

>14 year olds hold jobs now

Dude, he was late high school at the youngest, but probably was early college.

>Kenny also killed someone and robbed a bank, on top of pizza

True, I mean they made him do that stuff but still I guess it counts.

You guys think he should have said fuck it release the video from the start? That's what I thought even after finding out it wasn't just porn. Anything has to be better than being blackmailed.

That's why you cover up your kikecam before you fap. I never take any chances.

>tfw got extremely paranoid when watching Shut up and dance because of the hacked webcam aspect

T-t-they can't do that right?

Yeah, I didn't think he was college. Just assumed college desu.

I'm sure it's possible but I don't think it's very common

>Nigga do you know where you are? Like 40% of Sup Forums falls under those categories (With a good portion of that also looking at pizza)

And? They're not adults either

>when you watch the waldo moment for the first time

you're cruising along enjoying the show and that steaming turd shows up. What the fuck

Yes malware can do that

That episode is pretty brutal in fact Netflix even agrees and if you watch the show on Netflix now they start you on Season 3. Cause some people just stopped watching after the 1st episode or didn't even finish it when they saw that scene.

Yes. She did.

>He gives up the chance to be a worldwide superstar VA and millions of dollars because of some bullshit and ruining his waifu's political career, even though he only just met her and he literally was worthless beforehand

But user, technology IS bad

they have the show's seasons listed in reverse for some reason. It's been like this since before S3 even came out.

I remember I almost started off by watching Be Right Back

They didn't show it though if I remember?

post pics

>people praising Shut Up and Dance

we're seriously expected to believe that young pedo in this day and age would download the first shady "antivirus" program he finds on the internet? that he wouldn't already be an expert at covering all his tracks?

not to mention the reveal of him as a pedo serves no purpose other than to make the audience feel bad for ever sympathizing with him. it was pure cheap emotional manipulation
