>always say 'celebrities should keep their political opinions to themselves' or 'why do celebrities think their political views and opinions matter'
>elect a television celebrity as president

What did conservatives mean by this?

Not a very good comparison, but have fun with that smug worldview.

he was elected because he was a billionaire who wanted to use his business talents on the US gov, not because he was a celebrity

/thread /spbp

His primary profession wasn't being a television celebrity. That came because of how successful he was in the business world mixed with an A-type personality and a knack for delivery.

>great businessman
>Bankrupted a casino

Even Indians can run casinos

This did not work before the election and doesn't work now.

>a couple businesses out of several hundred failing
>guy is a multi-billionaire
>haha fucking loser
Erry time

>Trump
>his business talents

They've done it twice too.

Honestly cuntservatives are thirsty as fuck for celebrity approval of their bigoted, neofeudalist worldview. That's why they whine about left wing celebrities non-stop, but then get down on their knees for the Syfy Baldwin and that literal who that wore the Trump dress to the Grammys.

Why are liberals so hateful?

...

He went bankrupt like four times compared to over one hundred successful businesses.

Trumpdrones are hypocritical, what else is new? Really, they would fucking love Hollywood if it catered to them. They love all the media rags that shill for Trump. Breitbart, RT, Infowars, etc. It's just the media that doesn't lick Trump's ass that they hate.

To be completely fair to the GOP though, his core support in the primary never went higher than 30%. But that 30% was enough to keep him ahead of the pack, because there were like a dozen other candidates competing with him. If it had just been Trump and 1-2 other candidates, he would have been slaughtered. Same sort of thing applies to the general, Trump never had majority support, but Hillary was such an awful candidate that he managed to squeak through because enough Democrats in the rust belt states didn't bother to vote.

Just shut the fuck up already.

And Hollywood didn't have a problem with the shit Trump is doing when Obama was the one doing it.

>i called them hitler again!

>billionaire
source? No one has seen a tax return. Generous estimations put him nowhere near a billion

I have no problem with celebrities expressing political opinions. In fact I don't know why it bothers people so much. It's like everything people are exposed to these days has to be agreeable to them or else they spazz out like children.

As a conservative Trump supporter, I can't stand it when people say "x shouldn't be talking about politics" when they jump at the chance to put any remotely conservative celebrity on a pedestal.

>please ignore the fact that he is famous for being a billionaire real estate mogul whereas meryl streep is famous for being "better" than most shitty female "actors"
really makes you think

>It's a wealthy celebrities pat themselves on the back while sneering at everyday Americans episode.

Probably because they attribute the actors political opinions to the liberal themes/forced diversity that crops up in movies even though that's caused by writers/producers/the background people of hollywoof

...

>a television celebrity

>this is what teenagers actually believe

>writers/producers/the background people of Hollywood
OY VEY, don't be raycist

>he's got a ceiling
you guys are just dead set on learning nothing from this election huh? Yes, he just "lucked" into the presidency, and Brexit was an accident, and the Italian referendum was a weird coincidence, and 80% of Europeans not wanting more muslim immigrants is an accounting error, this is all just some big mistake

ITT:. Fucking retards who don't understand basic knowledge. Nor America

Here's some tips that may help you. I'm sorry you play dough cuck teachers don't teach you some of these following points

1:. Trump is not wealthy nor powerful for being an Actor. Having a show did not make him.

2:. Every or often every wealthy person will have failures. I can bet that Rockefeller. Or anyone in that era had failures

3:. Celebs talking down to people while being given millions is not the same as a business man telling a country he wants to help it. It's people. And to rightfully unite us. But I assume you think Anifa and BLM are what we need....

4:. Presidents only need to be of a specific age requirement (over 35 I believe) and American citizens. You don't need to be a fucking senator. OR Judge. Or doctor. Anyone can. Though money is an unofficial third rule

4:. America is a republic. Not a solid democracy

4a:. Pure democracys always fail

5....Fuck you nignog

I mean, he is a television personality though right? You know him because he's a billionaire? or because he's been on TV?

>Trump
>a television celebrity
>remember that time Hollywood gifted Trump $4billion and a bunch of skyscrapers with his name on it for his great work in television

Forbes' latest analysis puts his net worth at $3.7 billion.

Everyone knew his name before he was doing reality TV. Or do you think they just gave some random billionaire a TV show?

Now I'd assume the only counter points will be be

A:. Call him an ism. Sexism. Racism. Actorism

B:. Insults while not countering any actual points

C: Bad memes.

D:. Pretending that you're retarded and that I fell for your clever tricks.

E:. Admit that while some of my points can be argued about. That some can't. For example. Maybe only Trump failed and no other business man has. But president qualifications are still over "x" age and US citizen. Both Trumps orange ass fits and both answer OPs easily googled question

how old are you? he was famous enough as a rich businessman to be in home alone long before he ever had a show

Remember that time nobody calls Sean Hannity anymore?

Being known for a TV show is not what makes him big

Trump didn't go on the casting coach and suck dick to make mad money .

He made money. Hollywood liked him when he was more or less liberal/Democratic

Then he ran against a women. On a "republican" ticket. While saying illegals should GTFO and that America needs help.

I wonder if Trump just went full cuck would that hate him as much. I mean he still ran against a women...

You have a point OP, but can you tell me how many Presidents have won in the Wrestlemania?

who?

>random billionaire

There's not really a lot. They gave him a tv show because he wanted a tv show. Everything anyone knows about him off top is because he was on television. Carlos Slim is a billionaire too, know him? Maybe by name but does he, to you, have a persona like Trump? Probably not because of television.

>wonder if Trump just went full cuck would that hate him as much.
If he went FULL cuck he would have no problem handing over powers and privileges to the people that are attacking him now. So no, they'd be ok with him, that's all they want.

He has been a celebrity since the 80's. Playboy, the NYT, Oprah, the New York tabloids, rappers have all been obsessed with him for almost 40 years(way before he had a show). you must be a little baby or dumb

Trump's name is on one of the most iconic buildings in NY.
He's been on the cover of magazines, interviewed on TV, been in films for 40 years because he was such a known figure in business.
He got a TV show 30 years into his celebrity life because he was a huge pop culture figure, he was a huge pop culture figure for his business successes.
Carlos Sim is just some shadow beaner, his businesses aren't named after him, his name isn't put on giant buildings, so he doesn't have a recognizable name

I'm not, you're agreeing with me. He's made himself a public figure with the use of various media. On purpose though is what I'm saying. He didn't whoopsedaysie into celebrity by being a rich guy, he built up a public persona strategically. He wanted the celebrity and he went and got it.

>I'm 32
>I may be dumb though

Exactly the point, Slim didn't want celebrity h just wanted wealth and power. trump went out of his way to get the status that he has and he used media to do it. I'm not even really arguing with you people.

>his business talents

He would be 2x richer had he just bought index fund with the inheritance his dad gave him.

He has no business talent.

His name and celebrity is part of his brand. Having the Trump name on the business is more valuable than the building/operation etc. itself.

So becoming a celebrity wasn't just a power grab it was expanding his brand (and business). He's been making cameos in movies set in New York since the late 80s because that's how well known and associated he has been with the city and wealth since fucking forever.

If he had sold at every boom and and bought at every bust Very hard to do with even with the greatest investors Nice try though pal He actually employs a lot of people so it's not a bad thing

>trying to reason with people who possess no reason themselves
Honestly, let the Trumpanzees have their moment. They will understand in due course.

> some of the illegal immigrants that come into this country are rapists and murderers
> TRUMP SAID ALL MEXICANS ARE RAPISTS AND MURDERERS LITERALLY HITLER

Why should he? The media was his bitch the entire election despite actively working against him. You worthless retards can whine all you want, we have the house, the senate and the white house. It's going to be a glorious 8 years
