He typed 0 twice. The results in the official web are 102.

You stopped a normal referendum. It's your fault

Yes but the turnout got over 50% so it's a Yes victory any way.

it's almost as if the people who don't recognise the vote as legitimate wouldn't bother coming out to vote

>The only chance for spaniards not crying desperately is some guy who double typped a number in his twitter account

>don't go vote
>if the result doesn't go your way, just cry illegitimacy
how convenient

well ok, that's edible

if the Spanish government is obstructing the vote, and you support the government, why would you come out to vote?

For democracy?

I've never once abstained from voting as I believe it is my duty (except for some extremely irrelevant stuff like school board directors), so yes, I would.

Also, polls have consistently showed that, regardless of their feelings on independence, a strong majority of Catalans are in favor of being allowed to hold a referendum on the issue.

Same here in Québec: many people obviously are against independence, but the strong majority believes that, regardless, it's up to us to decide on our own terms (namely with a 50%+1 majority), rather than on Ottawa's terms.

I'm holding a vote for becoming the emperor of your moms bedroom. Voting ends in 1 minute.

400 años y el hereje sigue teniendo el culo roto

Fuck off Spain

200 jaar en de aap is nog steeds niet wit

No, it was meant to be ridiculous but also the logical extreme of being forced to accept the legitimacy of a vote for no reason. The Spanish constitution states that Catalonia can not leave Spain. If Catalonia wants to leave legally then the constitution needs to change. Untill that happens voting is pointless. People are not really abstaining if they do not believe that there is a legal refferendum taking place.
