hahah nice mispost you absolute SPUD!!!!
calculus is for fucking losers
oh look at me I can vomit a bunch of f's, h's, b's and a's onto paper and put parentheses and some random fucking algebraic equations into them
What is for winners then? Posting on Sup Forums?
what would be a Chad subject then?
and a BLACK subject?
>What is for winners then?
achieving your goals and hoping that learning calculus is not a prerequisite to doing that
Getting a good mark in Calculus is a prerequisite for every university in Canada though. What are your personal goals?
will you answer my question?
idk why I quoted you 2 times
Posting on anime discussion forums and watching anime probably
idk, I'm going to become a vet and as far as I know I don't have to learn calculus to do so
currently enrolled in a university here studying pharmacology (since I missed the application deadline for all the foreign vet schools) and I'm being made to learn calculus
kinesiology is the supreme chad subject
oh and I forgot to add: I fucking hate calculus
You probably can but you just suck at studying properly
How can I learn to study then?
You have to just do problems over and over until you can do it. All you have to do to pass a class is do problems. Learn from somewhere that works for you, whether it's your book, khan academy or whatever. Then just do problems.
Even an idiot can learn to do math at that level because you're essentially just learning a process and applying it to different numbers. There will be quirks, unexpected things, edge cases etc. that come up and throw you off guard, so you just figure those out by doing problems.
In a lot of ways you can look at it like learning a recipe. You don't need to know why it works, you just have to cook. With that level of math, half the time you don't even need to know the theory behind it, you just need to be able to manipulate the numbers to get the right answer.
So can I get a 90+ average in both of them?
I downloaded a book called "a mind for numbers" which is suppose to help me learn math and science.
Should be able to if you do problems until you get it and you mostly know what kind of problems will be on the test.
If you know what kind of problems the test covers then you can test yourself beforehand by doing a set of problems and seeing how you do, so you should never walk into a test not feeling confident.
so it's canada making shitty calc threads daily
i had a feeling
get HELP from others AT YOUR UNIVERSITY
AND/OR
ask the TEACHER for some ADVICE
you likely won't have that luxury senior year
I only got a 75 in gr 12 math on a much easier course (for retards essentially). I'm not feeling confident.
No normie u dont understand. I'm a NEET but I want to do courses online so I can go to university.
then ask sqt for help rather than making yet another calc 1/2 thread
and for gods sake stop mentioning iq, it's a flawed measure of intelligence, and you're more than some stupid number
defeatist terms like "brainlet" and "low IQ" are meaningless, as there's many different forms of intelligence, and almost anyone can learn a subject given the right amount of time and resources
make sure to ask specific questions about the actual unit itself, not just whatever coursework problems there are, and also use tutorial.math.lamar.edu
this guy is a fucking lunatic, drop it. He posts 24/7 the same fucking thread, some mod needs to permaban his whole province
he's the most absolutely annoying poster we have here, and I would gladly throttle him given the chance
Too bad you wouldn't be able to
Bump
I got 92 on advanced functions and 88 on calc and vectors, how bad are you, OP!?
Give me help please
90
are you planning on taking the courses so you could get into uni?
Yes
im 25 and literally cannot do addition, subtraction or division.
Are you enjoying Sweden so far? What do you miss the most about Somalia?
Are you in toronto?
No why
Go to khan academy.
Do the algebra basics mission then algebra I and trig mission, and do half of algebra II. You will have a good foundation to take advanced functions (it will mostly cover the same topics khan's algrebra II mission). After that you can take calc and vectors. If you're in the GTA it's probably too late to take both courses for the 2017-18 semesters (if you're planning nightschool)
I tried for a while but Algebra II was hard as fuck on there for me, could barely even start it.
I was thinking about doing online courses for it BTW. Seems easier and a lot more flexibility. Or is nightschool easier?
I also need 12u English and other U credits
Alright let's slow down. How many U credits do you need? You need 6 for uni right? You could definitely get a lot of them from online courses, maybe they offer English too. I think it's necessary to go to a physical class for Math though, hs teachers like to give away grades if you're fucking up the tests, especially for night school.
Im also missing the pre requisites for 12u maths and English so I'm even more cucked . I guess I'll try the nightschool thing but it's kinda far from me and the reviews say only immigrants go there and it's kinda tough to focus if they misbehave
