that episode where he shot that plain clothes cop i had to pause and take a walk around the house

Was he good teacher?

Can we talk about how shit-awful season 3 is:

>Nigger cowboy gunfights in every episode
>Cliche naive, idealistic politician character with Carcetti
>Cliche reformed "game dun changed!" old criminal character with Cutty
>Conflict between McNulty and Lester is shoehorned as fuck
>Omar is in every episode for no reason
>Tacky, unnecessary Iraqi invasion references are littered everywhere because David Simon had such a hate boner for George Bush.
>Stringer just doesn't bring Levy, a highly trained lawyer, into his business with Clay Davis because... reasons...
>Brother Mouzone came back when he should have stayed gone

Just awful

>it's a boring episode
Absolutely dropped show

Wirefag here. Can you go through the other seasons and tear them apart too? I just like seeing my favorite show dismantled. I'll help you out
Season 4
>Kima's retarded plotline

>it's another episode where literally nothing happens
This show is fucking shit. There is no plot. The characters are all unlikeable. Why the fuck does it even exist?

Who was the best character and why was it The Bunk

Season 2
>Kima actually says "COOL LESTUH SMOOVE" and it's supposed to be endearing
That's all I can think of right now.

Kima is literally the worst character

What made season 5 so bad, bros?

everything about the newspaper staff was awful

Mcnultys face when he realizes what prez did is chilling

Say something nice about season 3, user

pussi baby

Each season has a theme, the series overall explores the shithole of Baltimore.

If you're an American, you have at least some inkling of a question "why do shitholes like Detroit and Bodymore suck so badly?" The Wire intends to answer that.

What was season 3s theme?

I legitimately can't. I rewatched the entire show recently. Season 2 was such a masterpiece on a rewatch. By the time I got to the fourth season 3 episode I was disgusted by what the show regressed into. It's almost like the execs at HBO forced David Simon to change a bunch of shit to attract new viewers.

2 > 4 > 1 > 5 > 3

Is Marlo a good character?

Legalization was above his pay grade. That power ultimately rests with congress.

And guess who congress deals with?

The motherfucking Greek.

>muh corners

If thw city was so fucking bad why don't they turn it into a circle and get rid of the corners?

Holy shit. Run for mayor and try that.

You got my vote.

>muh wallace

I see The Wire still standing the test of time on this board as the one and only pleb-filter.

Season 2 a shit. Prove me wrong

The Sopranos is there with it.

>these columbians lack honor spiros

in what universe is 3 worse than 5?
