He was a good villain, he dindu nuffin

He was way too good of a character to be just killed off by fucking kids with CG powers.

Why is it a bad thing that he was killed by effects note possible of the practical realm?

It felt cheap. Not the animation itself but the idea. He could have been killed by x-24 out of control or stabbed by Logan while staring into each other's eyes. You know something more dramatic.

or just by Laura alone as revenge

He was a weakling and not the first or even second biggest threat of the movie. The doctor was the mind, X24 was the body, and that left him nothing to be except the guy that gets beat.

He may have been ineffectual, but god damn was this motherfucker stylin. I want more aesthetic villains.

what flick is this?

This

lurk moar

google

bing

do something

What?

Fuck off.

Is that malfoy?

It wasnt until after the movie I realized he was supposed to be Gambit

I thought he was just a government agent desu

a e s t h e t i c

He should have died when Caliban pulled the pin on the grenades. That was where it would have made sense narratively since X24 had been introduced just beforehand and his role as enforcer was thus obsolete.

i thought he did die in that explosion at first, was surprised when he showed up again. pretty confusing sequence desu

Marlon

Yeah I thought he was kinda hot too

did anyone else notice the guy in his squad who had a gun arm

I noticed a bunch of nu-male faggots trying too hard to be "operators": beards, tattoos, and man-buns aplenty.

>It wasnt until after the movie I realized he was supposed to be Gambit
What?

Literally how is this the same wooden drone from Narcos, makes me lose respect for that show tbqhwyfam

>is named Donald
>hunts for a poor mexican girl
>came up with the plan to wipe out the "mutants"
just a coincidence?

Da fuc- no

>da fuc-no

You typing like this really made me angry

>He was a good villain, he dindu nuffin

Well, he had to have done something to be considered a 'villain', no? Use of words is important, OP.

That said, he's sexy.

You post this in every thread, why would you reveal your idiocy numerous times over the course of weeks?

>>came up with the plan to wipe out the "mutants"

No he didn't, that was the actual scientist, he's just a hired gun.

he's neither

He's a merc, leader of Reavers

The scientist man said that Donald came up with the idea

How come he has a good hairline here? He had a pretty receded one in Narcos

In an interview he said he shaved in a receding hairline for the role, like that guy in Mad Men.

I don't remember that at all.

The professor and wolverine dies btw

It was right before Logan shot him, I swear I'm not lying

Draco Malfoy was the least intimidating villain in movie history

Logan was a bad film with great acting. The final act (Eden and onwards) is complete garbage, and the movie has no weight without 17 years of setup.

4/10. Some great moments, never worth rewatching as a whole. Same as every film in this tired franchise.

I literally thought this was Dan Stevens and he was going to reveal himself as David/Legion and kill Xavier.

Boyd seems cool tho. That hand is cool af. Still can't believe Legion didn't get a cameo.

I LOVED him as a villain

The way he casually walks up to and talks to logan in his face with no fear whatsoever was GOAT

How he told him he's a fan and how he knows all about his hideout but doesn't care cause he just wants laura.

It's a shame he was such a pussy when the actual fighting began. Was expecting more charisma from him when confronting laura and the kids.

>1st half of movie introduced him as a MAJOR threat even to wolverine

>2nd half made him some charismatic pussy

He was like foghorn leghorn meets jersey shore and ed hardy.

Yeah yeah can I get a dick pic, fappening 2.0 when?

It was meant to be an important moment of the kids fighting back against Pierce after all these years. Makes sense thematically to be them who killed him but the movie didn't really bother establishing what Pierce was to these kids other than flashing moments during the found footage part

Especially because with him surviving there's no real reason for that scene to be in the movie. Caliban standing up against his abuse and being the one who kills him would have been more earned than the kids standing up to his off-screen abuse and killing him

His mannerisms reminded me a lot of Brad Pitt in The Assassination of Jesse James. I dunno why he just did, voice sounded like him too.

>i ned da gurl

I wonder if that is actually his voice, he is from Kentucky. Sounded hot af desu, I bet Depp is regretting going the pseudo-French cardboard pirate route.

Do you think he ever tried to jerk off with his robot hand only for it to grab his dick with too much pressure and then had to go to Dr Rice to help him get it unstuck before he accidentally ripped it off

LOVED this character
>Breaks my heart to see you like this, Wolverine

Probably a leftie

You talking to me?

He was awesome. I liked the inclusion of the Reavers but they were super lazy with the designs. Each member is supposed to be unique with their own cybernetic body parts.
No tank man. Why didn't they include tank man?

no offense but this shit is gay af my man

Now I'm not saying the Lone Survivor design was any better... except it was. It was lazy and stupid, but it was better than being whatever the fuck this is. Would have ruined the tone harder than the Deadpool teaster playing at the end right after Logan's burial.

Why did he hate tigers so much?

Honestly, this is probably one of the greatest flaws of the movie, where all characters get developed pretty well, except for this guy.

I felt like they could have went more into his drives/purpose for working with the corporation, and showing how his value system went along with the shallow drives.

I feel like it would've been better if his character was ex-military and was in debt to Transgen for the biotic arm he receives (becoming loyal because of it), as well as the other Reavers being in similar situations. I wish they didn't make them seem like such bad guys, as opposed to individuals with much different goals/values than X-men, and their own lives to worry about. It would have made them somewhat more compelling, and would fit along with Logan/Laura conversation about bad men being killed, and Logan claiming they are all the same.

I also feel like that angle would have made the division more of a selfish vs. selfless conflict, and made the movie even more complex/layered.

This would have worked a lot better. Just have him line up a shot on Logan before he turns and sees Caliban, little dramatic tension to make it more impactful.

Question though, why didn't they all have adamantium bullets? Or just one handgun with a few to finish off Logan/Laura oh fug i just realized the name similarity

hold up. i didnt stayed after credits like a dumb virgin. What happened?

Nothing really, but apparently on Thursday night early screenings the Deadpool 2 Teaser youtube.com/watch?v=I4tFNfROlqk

was apparently played as the mid-credits scene. Poor taste, to say the least.

>play off one of the most beloved comic-characters of all time by cutting his credits

WOW

Well they clearly rectified it because I saw it on Saturday night and it was a shortened version played beforehand, like an introduction...

and then promptly waited through the credits like a retard.
