>Mad Max (the new one)
>Alien
>all of the Star Wars movies
>Captain America TWS
>The Dark Knight

>Iron Man
>Captain America
>Thor
what the fuck is this gay shit?

Watch all of these, you'll have a good time. Except Scarface and Godfather, those are pretty boring.

there will be blood
tree of life
the great escape

See Great Escape, it's incredible. There other 2 movies are highly skippable

Iron Man is bretty great
Captain America isn't really a good film, but it's still entertaining
Thor sucks, skip it

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
There Will Be Blood
The Thing
Aliens
Saving Private Ryan
Drive
Problem Child 2

then tgtbatu

trash the rest

for

See Aliens and The Thing, and maybe TGBATU if you are not a fag

>Casablanca
>Citizen Kane

I own them too. I just keep putting it off for the right night and right mood to experience such classics.

>Problem Child 2
I actually saw that in theaters

>Jaws
>Fast and Furious franchise
>every Tom Cruise film
>La La Land
>all x-men

> Top Gun

Am i missing anything?

>The Godfather
>TDK and the other one
>Die Hard
>Anything with black people as the main character unless Eddie Murphy.

>Lawrence of Arabia
>Ben Hur
>most disney films from the 90s

>every Tom Cruise film

>>Anything with black people as the main character unless Eddie Murphy.

Watch In The Heat of the Night

>Star Wars
>lord of the rings
>x-men
>godfather
>goodfellas
>blade runner
>Texas chainsaw massacre

Probably a lot more I'm forgetting.

>Lawrence of Arabia
>Ben Hur
These are the 2 greatest movies ever made you better watch them or else

I've never watched a lot of things that are parodied to death. Seeing so many parodies of stuff like Star Wars, Godfather, and The Matrix just make those movies seem so unappealing to me.

You should see Jaws and these Tom movies:
>Last Samurai
>A Few Good Men
>Mission Impossible 2 and 4
>Tropic Thunder

>Alien series
>Jurassic Park series
>Terminator series

I heard Vanilla Sky, Born at 4 July and The Colour of Money are good. Is that true?

You can skip Born on the 4th of July and go right to Born on the 4th of July 2. Its even July-y-er than the first.

>Robocop
>maybe Godfather
Faggot

they should have called it
>Born on the 4th of July 2: Born on the 5th of July

>Jaws
>Jurassic Park
>Blade Runner
>all Hitchcock films
>Dr. Strangelove (despite being a massive Kubrick fan)
>Raging Bull
>Platoon
>Goodfellas

and many more. AMA

also Starship Troopers. should I watch that? I love Total Recall (the real one)

>not watching my fave movie jurassic park

end yourself my man - or watch it

Drive

Star Wars

haven't seen a single star wars, and probably never will because i just don't care about fucking star wars

can I do both?

>Any Harry Potter movie

I'm not 12 (although I would watch if they were on Netflux)

>Any Twilight movie

I'm no a faggot.

>Any Saw movie

Too squeamish

>Any Hostel movie

I'm not into torture porn

>Inglorious Basterds

I'm not getting sucked into T.T. reverse troll cuckery

>Django Unchained

Same reason as Inglorious Basterds

>Saving Private Ryan

The only true glaring hole in my move watching resume. Ill get around to it eventually.

Are you people retarded?

Eyes Wide Shut and Magnolia are biggest Cruise kino, why would you not even include them? You faggots are plebs, fuck i hate this board.

It's like listing every Nicolas Cage film except Adaptation and Leaving Las Vegas on a Nicolas Cage list

Jaws, Jurassic Park, Goodfellas and Starship Troopers are great. The rest are boring meme tier

>trying to talk to me about Cagecore
Nigga I've seen Knowing AND both National Treasure movies. Don't try talking to me about Cagecore.

Magnolia was a absolutely great Cruise performance, the movie itself was just okay.

Leaving Las Vegas is boring as fuck. Cage's best performance is Bad Lieutenant.

Magnolia is dogshit, EWS is great

>Magnolia
>not 9/10

You people are shit. Magnolia is the best melodrama ever made

>conan the barbarian
>drive
>robocop
>die hard
>star wars original trilogy

There are many more.

>best melodrama ever made
Yeah and Silent Hill is the best video game movie ever made but I wouldn't give it a 9 you pleb

>indiana jones
>almost all capeshit except nolans batman
>all the fast and furious except the first
>blade runner
>all the disney/pixar cartoons
>ive literally never seen an anime

I have no interest in watching any of the above except possibly Blade Runner

Vampire's Kiss is objectively the best Cagekino

prove me wrong

Good job, that list all sucks hard, including and especially Blade Runner.

This so much, that guy is missing nothing

>not toy story

fuk the hell off

Ok then

it's great, but he's more psycho in Bad Lieutenant

youtube.com/watch?v=Bp8w5m1H7dY

I've actually seen the first Toy Story.

It was meh. Okay for a cartoon I guess, but otherwise not worth the time

He's not wrong. Godfather 2 sucks ass

There are so many movies I need to watch its insane.

It doesn't, but it's definitely much worse than the first one.

I've never seen any of the fast and furious shit or pirates of the Caribbean and that automatically makes me better than the rest of you filth

>Titanic
>Avatar
>Godfather (any of them)
>Alien (any of them)
>Blade Runner
>Tron
>Jaws
>Hardcore Henry
>Predator
>Dr. Strangelove
>Superman (any of them, but not including the Synder Cinematic Murderverse)
>Goodfellas
>Gravity
>Gone With the Wind
>The Exorcist
That's just to name a few.

>Back to the Future series
>Princess Bride

>TDK and the other one
SOMEONE GET THIS HOTHEAD OUTTA HERE

>Jaws
>Any of the Twilight films
>Jurassic Park
>Toy Story 1 and 2 (randomly decided to watch 3 on Netflix one day, that's the only reason I've seen the third one)
>The Big Lebowski
>Godfather series (I've seen 1/2 of the 1st one, then got bored)
>Lord of the Rings series
>The Matrix
>Terminator series
>Gladiator
>Alien (and the sequel)
>The Shining
>Scarface
>Good Will Hunting
>Fargo

Up until a week ago, I hadn't seen the Batman trilogy either (apart from the first few minutes of The Dark Knight Rises and the bank scene of course), but I'm working my way through that now.

Which ones should I definitely watch, which ones should I forget?

Literally haven't seen any movie since 2003.

impressive. what was the last movie you saw?

The return of the king

>The Exorcist
>Any recent horror movie except Paranormal Activity
>Most capeshit (DC or Marvel)
>Mulholland Dr.

exorcist is the best horror movie ever man, see it

Do you just watch TV or what? Why even browse this board?

How the fuck have yous guys not seen Jurassic Park or Jaws
>neo Sup Forums

Exorcist is good

>Star Wars
I tried, but hot damn are they boring. I gave up midway through the second one.

Sad thing is I've watched all the Plinkett reviews at least three times by now.

I watch a little tv, I work a lot so I don't get to watch a lot of things I would like to watch.

Honestly a lot of those are just meme movies and nostalgia. Like, things everyone has heard of that aren't necessarily good for people who haven't seen them before.

Watch the LOTR trilogy though, that's pretty amazing still.
Might want to watch The Matrix before the reboot fucks the franchise up.

I know, it's amazing how I've gotten past my movie theater's security living that lie.

I would have watched them a while ago, but ever since I started to learn how to cheat on the mandatory cinematic IQ test in order to get access to true kino showings, I thought there was no need to.

the matrix
ET
all those meme psycologial thrill movies

I feel like I've already seen Jaws thanks to the fucking countless references to it in popular culture over my entire life.
It's like I've experienced it through osmosis. I think there's literally no point in actually seeing it.

Actually you are a faggot.

It's a really well directed and edited movie, the pacing, acting and characters are all great, as is the music. It is still worth seeing.

I didn't watch any of the 80s/90s nostalgia films. To be honest, none of it interests me.

I still haven't seen TDKR either, yet I've watched the plane scene hundreds of times

If you havent watched even the most entry level pleb films what are you fags even doing in this board?

>you can only enjoy new tv and movies if you've seen the old tv and movies I've seen

Thats not even the point, some of you havent even seen some capeshit films that are talked about here all the time. Im not asking you to watch some 20s arthouse mongolian movie.

Its just normal movies most people who are the least bit interested in cinema have seen.

I unironically believe that E.T.: The Extraterrestrial is the single best film, of any kind, big or small, short or long, bar none, to have been released during the decade of the 1980s, and I encourage you to watch it sometime user.

E.T. was a cultural requirement for 70s and 80s kids (and boomer parents by extension), but millenials haven't necessarily watched it.

Titanic
Forrest Gump
Lion King
Inglorious Basterds
Braveheart
Iron Man
Robocop

oh and not to forget
>The Dark Knight Rises

How have so many people not seen Titanic? It's genuinely really good.

Capeshit is shit, only kiddies and manchildren watch it

See Robocop and Titanic, obviously

I saw half of it 10 years ago in history class, does that count?

You could spend the time browsing Sup Forums watching some movies.

You should give it a full watch faam.

Any of the Alien movies. I understand the general premise but that's it.

I also have only seen the 1st one.

and Alien vs Predator

Still haven't seen 2001, I'll end up seeing Ikarie-XB1 before I get around to watch it.

tfw saw it in theaters, bishes crying n shiet

that spielberg alien movie
third degree or whatever it's called

Robocop is a must

Three Degrees of the Close Kind
